Hey all -
I know that Atlas is cloud-first, and there's not rich integration between Jira Data Center and Atlas AFAIK, but is there a way to mimic some of the cloud integrations between Atlas and JSW/JSM?
My company is moving to Confluence Cloud early next year but we'll be on JIra DC for the next year. I would like to get us using Atlas sooner rather than later, especially as we work to revamp the way we work as a company. Some sort of integration between Atlas and JSW/JSM DC would make this a lot easier.
Thanks!
First of all, welcome to Atlas!
Unfortunately we only have integration for the cloud version of Jira Software.
Having said that, if you start using now and do move to cloud down the line you could sync existing Atlas projects with Jira issues and bring Atlas goals into your new Jira cloud.
HI @Nir Nikolaevsky - I understand that you only have full integration with the cloud version of Jira Software. I am asking if there is any workaround, using custom fields, or an API, or anything, to link JIra Data Center and Atlas.

Hi @Bryan Guffey, at them moment we don't have API or app support available for Atlas (although we'll likely have that in the future).
We will be introducing custom fields into Atlas for our paid plans soon so you could dedicate a text/string field for DC epic codes/IDs but it won't sync with the issue or show on the Jira side.
I know it's not much, but I hope this helps. I'll speak to the team to see if there are any other workarounds you might be able to use and report back.
