We have recently added Atlas to our environment but there's hasn't been a large uptake of the goal portion of the tool as this point.
We have found a few of the projects have had this "advert" pop up and we've had some strong feedback that they don't want this popping up. Attempts to remove this option via the ellipsis menu doesn't hide it.
Can anyone suggest how I can get rid of this for all users and prevent it showing up in future?
Hi Kate! Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like you are using Projects but not Goals at the moment. I will discuss this with the team in terms of whether we can build a configuration to turn this section off.
To better understand the issue you're facing, does this advert pop up unexpectedly on epics? It should only be displaying when the user has clicked on the Link Goals button at the top of the epic, and only for that particular epic, per user.
Thanks Rachel,
I can't say that we won't use Goals in the future; we just find that the push to utilise that functionality isn't useful to all general users on the Epic page.
Would disabling the integration app (that sits between Jira and Atlas) remove the 'Link Goal' prompt for the meantime?

@Kate The functionality should only appear to users when there are goals that have been linked, or if the user has actively clicked the Link Goals button on the epic. Otherwise, it shouldn't show to other users.
You can disable the integration via the settings cog. This will also turn off the linking between Projects & Epics, if that is something you are currently using?
