Howdy folks! I just moved to East Tennessee from Dallas, TX where I was an in person community lead.
I noticed there is a Nashville group, but no Knoxville group. Is anyone here in the Knoxville area, or know of enough people interested in setting one up?
The Atlanta group seems to be the closest group to me, but still a bit far for a community meetup. :)
same here. I have moved to Knoxville, TN and hoping we can get the community started in Knoxville, TN.

@Jeff Tillett, having been a community leader in Dallas/Ft. Worth for many years, may (hopefully) have some pull with the Atlassian ACE team.

Are you living/working in Knoxville proper, or a suburb? I'm in Townsend.

@Gautam.Bhatia , I see that you liked my question, but did not answer it. :) Are you living/working in Knoxville proper or a surrounding town? Trying to get an idea on an ideal location.

I'm in western SC (near Greenville) and have been trying to get something started here, but Atlassian won't approve it.

It's usually an issue with having enough leaders and attendees to get started. Did you get any sort of feedback?

From what I remember, they want employees of solutions parters to have a demonstrated history of successfully running events in tandem with a non-solutions partner to show the ability to disconnect the business from the community.
We ran into issues with this in Dallas regularly.
@LarryBrock probably has the most experience in this area.

@Jeff Tillett and @Kyle Moseley BlueRidge_cx - happy to help get things kicked off. Want to meet and discuss strategy, then invite Maya/Caroline into the conversation to see what will keep them happy?
