Xray: Is it possible to create a second test issue type identical to the test with a different name?

Hi, is it possible to create a second issuetype test (for example called business test) that is identical to the test? That means the test execution can be created directly on it and the status is then displayed, etc.?

Hi @Vera_wyss , thanks for your question. 

I checked the product documentation for you for Xray and it seems, as the Xray issue types are just Jira issue types, that you should be able to create another test issue type with a different name.

Thanks for your answer.

I opened a Ticket by the vendor and received the following response:

"The issue type is integrated and designed at the architecture level of the product Xray. I am sorry but it would not be possible to add more issue types under this functionality. "

It is therefore not possible to create another issue type that is identical to the test.
