Why my test status for an execution is not getting updated with latest execution status in XRAY

If a test has multiple test executions, and the latest execution is a PASS and all previous ones are fails, the test coverage should reflect the latest status displaying a "PASS" when the "Final statuses have precedence over non-final" check box is ticked.

 

My current execution is not updated with the latest status, it is displayed as FAILED

I believe we are confusing Test Run Status and the Test Execution Status.
