Questions for Confluence Plugin: Is it possible to have the Topics caseinsensitive?

We introduce Questions for Confluence.

Unfortunately the Topics are case sensitive, which can lead to duplications or even issues when searching for Topics.

Is there a way to make topics case-in-sensitive?

We have the same issue and I am looking for a upgrade that can help merge all questions irrespective of how the topic is listed in either case
