how can Epic names from Greenhopper be synced to jira?

does ne1 know if this will be done when Epics leave GH labs and be built in?

Hi,

The Epic Label is meant to be a very short description of the Epic (< 15 chartacters), so there's actually nowhere to copy it from (the summary is usually to long). As a result we don't plan to have an automatic sync from Summary to Epic Label.

When you say synced to JIRA what do you mean exactly? You can show the Epic Label field on the view issue screen and edit it from within JIRA if you wish.

i was dragging a issue on an epic label in GH. when i view this issue in jira the Epic/Theme field is empty

The Epic/Theme field is not used in the new implementation.
