I am not sure if I should expect a response on this thread because of competition but I will still try it out. What is the best way to promote a JIRA plugin/App?
Also, do partners/vendors who have built an app or multiple apps like to collaborate with other vendors?
IMO the key is consistency and repetition in whatever promotion path you choose.
We at Izymes try to answer community questions, create a mix of knowledge, info and how-to blog posts in the community and attend relevant ACE events. ACE events may be a great platform to showcase any solutions if it fits the ACE event agenda.
There are a lot of resources in https://atlassianpartners.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/resources/overview that give general advice on how to best run your Atlassian MP vendor shop.
I have seen Solution partners team up with MP vendors to create synergy.

This is a really good question, I usually try to add our app as a suggested solution for relevant threads only, with a link and an image.
And sometimes for threads like this! :D
