Great article! The challenge of sustaining team cohesion and engagement in remote and hybrid Agile environments really resonates with us. In our team, we've faced similar difficulties in maintaining a strong sense of connection and collaboration while working remotely. To overcome these challenges, we found that integrating fun and interactive activities into our routine was a game-changer. Here are a few things that worked well for us:

  1. Online Interactive Knowledge Sharing: Regular sessions for sharing expertise and learning together. Z-gen engineers loved it ;)
  2. Fun Retrospectives with Power Retro: Our own developed Jira Add-on tool makes retrospectives engaging and creative. We loved using it and finding new and better feature ideas while working with our own tool.
  3. Online Team Games: Virtual games to build stronger connections within the team.

Of course, none of this would be possible without a fantastic Scrum Master who understands the unique dynamics of remote work and facilitates these on a regular basis.
