Create Epic(s) and set costume field Parent Link by script when creating Initiative manually

Hi there,

we have the following situation: 

We use Jira Software (Data Center) and some of our Add-Ons are Portfolio and Scriprunner. Using Portfolio we defined the following hierarchical structure:

1. Initiative
2. Epic
3. Story/Task
4. Sub Task

Now, when we create an Initiative manually we want to run a script (Listener, "Clones an issue and links") to create one or more Epics - this runs fine. BUT we also have to fulfill the custom field "Parent Link" on Epic Level to have the right structure in Portfolio. How can we set the Parent Link value of the Epic to the Issue ID of the Initiative (e.g. from Jira standard field to custom field)? or what could be another solution?
