When creating tickets from Intercom to Jira via code: in the notes section
createJiraIssue STD:: Short Description:: Long Description Description
When I do that I want the reporter to be automatically- the user for intercomm
and Jira ticket assigned to me.
@[deleted] -- I think we are experiencing the same problem. I'm the person who configured Intercom for JIRA for our team and now it appears that I'm the "reporter" on any tickets submitted through Intercom. I tried reaching out to both Intercom and JIRA and no one had the answer.
I think this answers our question!
Look at the note on this one:
https://docs.toolsplus.io/intercom-for-jira/guides/getting-started-jira-cloud
Look at how to change the reporter:

Thanks for helping out with this issue. I am from Toolsplus, developer of the Intercom-Jira integration. Just wanted to let you know that whoever is logged in to Jira when you set up the integration will be the issue reporter - this is the expected behavior. We have a FAQ regarding this that explains the details on why that is. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to render an issue reporter selection in Intercom at this time because there are no UI elements that would allow us to do so.
Hope that makes sense. Please do get in touch if you have any further questions or post them here.
Thanks,
Tobias
