Why Track Time in Trello?

Time tracking allows you to gain insights into your team's performance and project progress. By monitoring how long tasks take, you can identify bottlenecks, allocate resources more efficiently, and improve your overall productivity.

Getting Started with List Time Tracker

  1. Enable the power-up
Navigate to the Trello board where you want to track time. Click on "Power-Ups" in the board header, then select "Add Power-Ups." Search for "List Time Tracker," and when it appears, click "Add." Trello will display a brief description of the permissions required; review it and click "Add." If an authorization window pops up, click "Authorize" to proceed.
  2. Authorize the power-up
Next, you'll need to authorize the power-up. Click the "List Time Tracker" board button with the hourglass icon, then click the "Authorize" button. Review the terms and click "Authorize" again. Once you do this, the modal will close, and you'll be all set to use the power-up.
  3. Use convenient time in list analytics
Time in the list is shown in two locations:
    • At the front of each card, indicating the duration the card has spent in the current list.
    • Inside each card, providing a detailed breakdown of how long the card has spent in each list.
