Hey Atlassian Community!
We have fantastic news for all testers and QA managers using (or considering ๐) the Requirements and Test Management (RTM) app for Jira. We just released a game-changing feature: AI-generated test cases!
Creating test cases can be repetitive and time-consuming. But not anymore! With our new AI integration, you can generate test cases based on requirements using OpenAI technology. This means less manual work and more time for strategic tasks.
Go to the appโs documentation to learn more about creating AI test cases. Or, you can use the interactive demo below to test it yourself now:

We know writing detailed test cases for every requirement can be challenging. This new feature helps you quickly draft initial test cases, saving time and effort. Although the generated test cases need to be checked, your job will be easier. You'll have more bandwidth to ensure high-quality testing.
With AI handling the initial test case generation, your testers can focus on more complex and strategic testing tasks, improving efficiency. Optimize your team's workflow and cut down operational costs.
Imagine a mid-sized IT company that is about to implement a significant new feature. The team defines requirements in RTM for Jira as accurately as possible. We currently require a minimum of 50 characters in the description. This not only saves time but also ensures that the test documentation is ready early in the development cycle, improving the overall quality of the product.
Then, instead of manually creating test cases, testers use our AI feature. Based on 1 to 10 requirements, AI generates draft test cases and their steps. The only thing testers need to do is review, accept, or edit the test cases, and save them to the test cases list in the app.
Now, the QA team can prepare test plans and execute them:
Testers must document every step for the client (progress, time spent). To do that, they frequently create reports. They can still use all reporting features in RTM for Jira app:
The testing team most often uses the Traceability Matrix in Jira report. With this functionality, they can quickly generate updates and show how requirements are covered by related testing objects.
Would you like us to show you how it works first? Great news! On Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. CET, our team will do a live demo of Requirements and Test Management for Jira.
It'll be about an hour long, showing off the app, including the new feature. Plus, our experts will be there to answer all your questions at the end. Weโd love to see you, make sure not to miss it!
