Table that has Sql macro inside a row gets extra space added (for each row)

Ovidiu T March 16, 2017

We've upgraded Confluence to 6.0 and discovered that simply by opening for Edit a page created previously, the rows that are currently shown correctly get an extra white space row inside each table row.
Again, this happens even if we open the page to edit, make no edits and preview the page. The space remains  if we save the page.

How do we fix this?
See below an example with both the normal and the extra space version.

The column that has the sql macro inside is the "Description" column.

This is how it looks when entering the Edit mode (note the extra space already put aroudn the sql macro):

Just noticed that if I *add* any text before the sql macro (in that cell) the extra line goes away.  The text has to contain non whitespace characters.

So this looks like a bug. I'll change the audience of the question.
