Beginner's Work: Problems Displaying Hello World Gadget

So I'm trying to develop a basic Hello World gadget that will simply print an html message. Once I've logged into the localhost/2990/jira as admin, I can find my gadget under the plugin section but I cannot get it to show up on the dashboard (it doesn't appear in the Gadget Directory at all, thus I can't add it).

I haven't modified my pom.xml from the api's and gadget.xml and atlassian-plugin.xml are pretty much the same as well. One error that I'm getting after I run atlas-cli -> pi, in my other cmd window where atlas-run is being held, it displays this error after i run pi.

[upm.rest.representation.PluginsRepresentation] Failed to retrieve Plugin Version from PAC

I can show any files that you need to help me debug this. Thanks guys.

Figured out my own problem. Needed to update the UPM and fix some of the locale elements.
