I want to understand the purpose behind it.because if a story is completed in a sprint/project why does it need to be cloned to other project/sprint?
By story we mean a part of feature and if it is done then why clone it again?
story is created in Project X as a capability building purpose, but need it to be only viewed in other project board as per the sprints created there for future planning and dashboarding.

what i suggest is create a product/project roadmap instead it will give visibility to all project teams and show dependency if any and everyone will be able to see stories and task under those capabilities.

Hi Monica:
In Jira, an issue can/should only be associated with one Sprint. What is your reasoning wanting to have the same issue in multiple sprints?
Please provide more clarifications on your ask, so we can assist you further.

Hi Monica,
It is possible to create one story in project X and make it visible in another project's board. You can always use JQL/filters to make it visible in another board as in your case, I am guessing that you need.
Just make sure that you have respective permissions to both the projects :)

Yes, it´s possibel to create several boards within the same project but it´s worth remembering that in JIRA Cloud this is only possible with COMPANY-MANAGED Projects. In my case for example I use one Kanban board Upstream (Discovery) and the other Downstream (Deliverables) in the same Squad.
Thanks in advance,

Hello Monica,
I can confirm that this following scenario is possible (currently using it) :
Story 1 in sprint A in Project X and same story 1 in kanban board B in different Project Y.
I guess it will work if you use a scrum board too.
