Hello,

Using the new GreenHopper 5.8 rapidview KanBan board so that we can get swimlanes and columns in the same view, and noticing that there is some lacking features.

  1. I can't figure out a way add more information to the card. All it is showing is the key, summary and assignee.
  2. When displaying content from more than 1 project, I'd like to be able to color code the cards so it's easily noticible for which project the issue is from.

Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? These are very basic kanban features that appear to be missing.

Hi Jason,

This is not currently possible with the Rapid Board. Please see this issue for more information:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-3922

Thanks Jason.

They deleted my issue. But the old issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-3922 still gets a lot of wondered JIRA users who would like to be able to have configured cards on the kanban board. JIRA however doesn't agree that it should be possible to configure the cards. See the comment at the top of the issue.

I made a new request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-7303. It seems weird to me that possibilities shown in Agile boards are not possible in KanBan.

The usual way of setting the fields that should be shown in cards is by by going to Configure and changing the card styles as explained here http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Configuring+your+Card+Styles

This only affects the Task Board. Rapid board does not appear to be affected by these changes.
