Portfolio for JIRA : When an Epic is exluded the new US created are still in the plan

amine benali September 21, 2018

Hello Team,

I would like to report this BUG.

When an Epic is excluded from the Portfolio Plan. if the teams create new US and link them to this Epic afterwards. Those US will be added in Portfolio under US without PARENT.

Can you please help fixing this ? or at least give us a workaround.

Thank you

Hi Amine,

Can you let us know exactly how you are excluding the Epic from the Plan? This appears to be a known and intended issue, but if you can help us to understand how you're working with Portfolio we may have a few suggestions.

Regards,

Shannon

Hi @Shannon S

1- Go to scope view.

2- Thick the Epic then use the button exclude from plan

3- Then commit.

Amine,

Thank you for your help.

I've reported this below as a feature request:

  • JPOSERVER-2426 Ability to exclude all current and future children of an issue excluded from plan

Please vote on this and comment there with your usage case in order to help it to be considered for future releases.

Regards,

Shannon
