To see all templates available to you:
  1. Select Templates in the main navigation bar.
  2. Choose a top template or explore more templates from the community.

Warren is a manager at a local media company. His team is getting ready to launch a new website. He’d like an easy, visual way for his team to track and organize their work. He decides to use the Project Management template. It comes pre-loaded with workflows that will help him organize information, track statuses, and reduce bottlenecks.

Use a board template

The visibility settings of a board determine who can access a template created from the board. For example, if the board is visible to Workspace members, any Workspace member can create a board using that template; however, if the board is private to only you and you create a template, only you can use that template. Members can star their favorite templates for easy access when creating new boards.
You can create a board from a template from either the Create button in the global Trello header or from the Create board from template button in the template banner above a board template.
👇 Click the tabs to see the two ways to create a board using a template.
To create a board from the global header:
  1. Click the Create button from the global header.
  2. Select Start with a template from the dropdown.
  3. Select from your starred templates, top recommended templates, or click Explore templates to browse or search for a template.
  4. Click on a template to review its description and confirm it meets your needs
  5. Click the Use template button in the top-right corner of the template window.
  6. Give the board a title, select a Workspace, and set its visibility.
  7. Check whether you want to keep the board cards or template cards, then click Create.
👇 Click “Create” to start with a template.
