Watch Loom videos

To play a Loom video, all you need to do is click on the video thumbnail. The video player includes options and accessibility features to customize your viewing experience. You can adjust:
  • Playback speed: Change the playback speed to go slower or faster.
  • Closed captions: Turn captions on or off.
  • Video quality: Adjust the resolution based on your internet connection, regardless of the recording method used. Trimmed or stitched videos don't permit quality adjustments.
  • Player size: Enter and exit full-screen mode.

Interact with Loom videos

With in-video comments and emojis, you can respond and react to a specific moment in a video as you watch it. All emoji reactions and comments will appear on the video's timeline as you leave them.

View video transcripts

Loom makes it easy to access and use video transcripts, which can be helpful for reviewing content or sharing information. You can view a video's transcript by opening the right panel of a video and clicking on the Transcript tab. Below are some things you can do with the transcript:
  • Search: Search for a specific keyword or phrase to locate or play a precise point in the video.
  • Copy: Copy the whole transcript or just specific snippets.
  • Correct: Edit your transcript to fix errors.
  • Download: Download the captions as a .srt text file.

Save videos to watch later

Not ready to watch now? No problem.
Sometimes you might come across a video you want to watch but don’t have time at the moment. You can simply click Add to Watch Later to save videos to watch another time and access them from the Watch Later tab in the sidebar when you’re ready. You can even opt-in to receive reminders to help you remember.
