Transform content with Rovo

Rovo includes tools for:
  • Versatile content creation: Users can edit content in different formats and styles, such as project documentation or customer communications. AI assists in generating text that is relevant and tailored to specific needs.
  • Audience-specific writing: AI considers the context and intended audience, providing suggestions to adjust writing style and tone. This helps adapt messages for both technical and non-technical readers.
  • Clear and concise communication: AI editing features support users in making their communication clearer and more concise by suggesting ways to simplify language, remove redundancies, and organize information for easier understanding.

How to use Rovo to edit content

While editing content, highlight text to access Rovo AI features, revealing a floating menu bar with AI options.

You can ask Rovo to change the tone of a comment you’re leaving for someone to be more friendly or more formal, improve the writing, fix the spelling and grammar, or even translate the reply to another language.

These editing tools are available in Confluence, Jira, Jira Service Management, Trello, and Atlas. The process for using them is the same, whether you’re editing Confluence pages or text fields such as descriptions or comments in work items.

Format work item descriptions with Rovo

Understanding Jira work items can be difficult when descriptions are dense or unstructured, which may lead to missing important requirements or details.
The Rovo work item reformatter is designed to help by restructuring work item descriptions for better clarity.
You can access the Rovo work item reformatter by selecting Improve description option in the Rovo. Rovo will analyze your description and suggest a more readable structure.
Improved and structured description will:
✔ Standardize the format
✔ Make information easier to understand while working on items
✔ Help identify and extract relevant details across multiple tickets
To format work item descriptions:
  1. Select or highlight work item description that you want to format.
  2. Select Rovo icon or type /rovo to bring up the Rovo pop-up.
  3. Select Improve description.

You have the option to update your existing description, simply select Replace or Insert below to insert your new description below the existing one. You can also use the copy button to easily copy the text and paste it wherever you need.
