Sandbox challenges
To pass the exam, technical knowledge of Atlassian Cloud administration features is crucial, but it is not enough. The majority of exam questions are based on scenarios that must be understood, analyzed, and evaluated to find the correct answer that fits the stated constraints.
The following challenges will assist you in exploring scenarios with Atlassian Guard. It will help to develop your approach and prompt you to investigate different methods and solutions as you prepare for the exam.
Atlassian Guard
Your organization has grown and is ready to make the investment into enhanced data security and governance. You need to add and configure Atlassian Guard to manage your Atlassian Cloud products.
- Under Security, review the Security checklist, then Security guide in the admin hub to understand what’s required to prepare and set up your organization.
- Start a free trial of Atlassian Guard.
- Review your products and plans to understand how you are billed for your Atlassian Guard subscription.
You will want to take advantage of the various security features of Guard.
- Review and update your default authentication policy, then create a second authentication policy and assign several members to it.
Your organization now has a lot of users and products and management is wondering about analytics.
- View your organization’s insights
- Compare active users across multiple products for the past three months. Review the number of products you can compare and the available time ranges.
- View the number of active users out of all the users for the selected time range.
- Review the logins with and without two-step verification.
Your usage of Atlassian products is growing fast. You want to stay on top of managing shadow IT. Do some experimentation to understand how it works and how it is discovered by Guard. To do this, you will first need to sign up for a Cloud product by starting a new site using the Atlassian account of one of your org admins. Ensure the new product and site is in a new, different, organization.
- View the Discovered Products section of the admin hub to see how those products appear.
- View the email sent when the new site was created.
- Explore the data available about each of the discovered products.
- Explore the actions you can take for each row.
