Friday Fun - Spooky Season 👻
Happy Fri-YAY, Community! (Or Friday Eve here in the States!) Trick-or-treat happens in my community this Saturday, which has me thinking about costumes for people and pets. When I was a Kindergarten teacher, my teaching partner and I always did matching costumes. This was one of my favorites from a program we used in our…

As a former Kindergarten teacher turned Project Manager/Scrum Master/wearer-of-many-hats, I've learned that play is not just for kids anymore. In fact, I'm finding new joy in "plays" - in the Atlassian Team Playbook. Recently, I took the plunge and went for Atlassian's Team Playbook Facilitator training, and it was a…

Synced and Streamlined: Tools That Keep Our Fully Remote Team Thriving
As a fully remote team (and company), I rely a lot on a variety of tools to keep in sync with a number of projects and teams I’m part of at any given time. Trello helps me keep track of my own daily tasks. Recently my team also created a board to track the Product tasks prior to handoff to engineering. We’re loving the…

Fun Friday - Lemonade out of Lemons
Happy Fun Friday everyone! As a former teacher of little kiddos, Fridays have always included a bit of fun for me. I'm glad to continue the tradition here! I had different plans for my first post, but this week took a bit of a turn so I thought I'd change things up. Also, note: I'm attempting to write and edit this on my…

GitLab and Jira Automations (beyond pull requests and commits)
Hi there! I'm looking for a way to automate our GitLab and Jira integration a bit more than the options available out of box. Would love any ideas (or extension recommendations) to solve for the following. Currently, when a developer creates an MR in GitLab, the Jira ticket is automatically moved to the Needs Review…

Excited to learn…

How do you set a rule to stop showing Iniatives in a board once it is beyond a set swimlane?
Looking to show Iniatives on a Kanban board until it's beyond the planning column. At that point, epics within the initiative would have been created and those would then show on the Kanban. We do have a rule set to only display issues with P2 or P1 priorities. Thank you for any help you can offer!
