Hi @Michelle Bautista thanks for the question! The best way to determine what components to include on your status page is to consider what important services, features, or products your customers depend on. What items / services have had outages or performance issues in the past? What are the most important parts of your…

Hello, components set to "degraded performance" or "maintenance" aren't counted in the uptime showcase. From our knowledge base: Our stance is that while degraded performance (i.e. things are just running slow) does affect user experience, it's not technically "downtime". We also think scheduled maintenance generally…

Hi Sean, Jake here with the Statuspage team. Statuspage is a tool meant for improving incident communication. Aside from the Scheduled Maintenance functionality, we don't have any specific features that would help you communicate about upcoming events/changes. If you want to use Statuspage for this, you could create the…

Hi @ernest.mueller perhaps the workaround I mentioned above (subscribing to a status page using Slack's forwarding email address) will suffice for now? Just to clarify, Atlassian doesn't own Slack, but we're partners with them :) And to the best of my knowledge, we never had webhook support for end users via HipChat. We…

Thanks for confirming! This isn't configurable right now, but it's possible we'll add these options sometime in the future.

Hi Nat, to clarify, are you looking to use the Status Embed? And you only want the status embed to show an incident when the incident has a certain tag? This isn't currently possible but it's a great idea! If I'm misunderstanding your request let me know so I can get this captured as a request.
-
Hello! You can drop this into the custom header field and swap out 'Replacement text' with whatever text you want. <script type="text/javascript"> $( document ).ready(function() { $("span.status:contains('All Systems Operational')").text('Replacement text'); }); </script> You can also find some other snippets like this…

That's correct. You would manage employee access to view the page using your idp. If you set up SSO for team members (admins of the page) you would need to make sure those users were added in the manage portal as team members. But for the page viewers, you would manage all of that in your idp.

Hi @Per Löfgren this is a great idea and something we'll possibly add in the future. It's not currently on the roadmap, but I'll make sure there's a feature request for this in our backlog. You can manage access to your private status page using a SAML2.0 and your identity provider. In your identity provider, you'd assign…

Hi @Ngô_Phi_Hùng it's not currently possible to call an incident template when creating an incident using the API. However, this is a feature request in our backlog and I've added a note to that. As a workaround for now, we suggest including the incident template content directly in the API scripts you're using to create…

Hi Philippe, I see our support team has been in touch to begin troubleshooting this problem. We'll get to the bottom of it!
-
Hi @Rich, we see you opened a ticket, and thanks for pointing out that email link - we'll get that removed!
-
Hi David, we don't currently show logs for email or sms notifications however this is something we've put a good amount of thought into in the past. We do have this in our backlog although it's not currently prioritized. I definitely agree this would be valuable. You use Statuspage to send notifications - having full…

I've gone ahead and updated our internal feature request and shared this with the product team.

Hi Victor, if you unlink your Datadog account the data will not populate on the metrics until you re-link the account. Once you re-link the account we'll backfill the data for those metrics. I'd suggest hiding the metrics from your status page while you reconfigure the accounts. Then, once you re-link the account and…

We don't currently have any export features for incidents, but you can retrieve this data using the API. For example, you could use the "Get a list of incidents" endpoint - https://developer.statuspage.io/#operation/getPagesPageIdIncidents - this will retrieve information about your incidents including creation dates and…

Hi @Subhendu Chattopadhyay we don't currently have a solution for configuring components with an additional layer like that. We'll follow up on this thread if we introduce this feature or come up with a workaround!

Upon further investigation, only US numbers are subscribed via short-code. I'll update the above copy to reflect this. Sorry for the confusion!

Hi @tino, the uptime showcase timeline isn't customizable at this time. Fitting an entire year's worth of uptime/downtime poses some design challenges but I'll definitely pass this feedback along to our product team. It's also possible that we'll introduce some reporting capabilities further down the road, which might…

Hi Nick! We started this rollout on the 21st and are slowly rolling it out in phases. I believe we're at 80% of all customers right now. I can confirm this change has not yet hit your organization. Sorry for the confusion, I should have clarified this is a phased rollout in the copy above. Regarding short-code vs.…

Hi @LarryBrock, great questions! Yes, you can add additional pages to your existing account. Note that each page is billed separately. Check out this help article for more information: https://help.statuspage.io/help/add-a-new-status-page Once you finish setting up the new page, you can activate the page on whatever plan…

Thanks, @Sophie Reynolds I can see how the exact time entry would be a preference over entering a duration. I'll share this feedback with our product team.

Hi @swift - thanks for checking in on this. This hasn't been added to the roadmap yet but there is a work-around you can use for getting incident notifications into Slack using Slack's forwarding email address. You can subscribe to a Statuspage(s) using Slack's unique forwarding address > confirm your subscription in the…

Thanks for all your support and help Nick!

Thanks for reading, @cameron.conover

Hi Nick, I'm afraid we don't expose login events or password reset events in the UI or API. I can definitely see how this would be useful though. I've shared this feedback with the product team. As we work to improve Access Control functionality, it's possible user activity data like this could be introduced in the future.
-
Hi Nick, I'm afraid we don't currently track or expose login events in the UI. Can you elaborate on why this information would be useful? I can make some guesses :) but I'd love to understand your specific use case in wanting to see that information.
-
@Darryl Gibson Ok thanks for all the context here! Since there wasn't an incident associated with the component degradation, I can see how it would be confusing to see only the maintenance on that day. I'll pass this along to our product team!
-
@Darryl Gibson Was an incident created for that outage, or was a component degraded without an incident?
-
Thanks for sharing this! I recently discussed this with our product team. They're aware of the usability problem here and we'll update this thread with more information as it becomes available.
