Awesome! Thanks for sharing this, these are great tips/ideas for others.

@Darryl Gibson you would have to delete the Scheduled Maintenance in order to remove it from the "Related" section. At this time there's no way to un-relate an incident/maintenance without deleting it. We tie it to the day based on the time the incident/scheduled maintenance spans. Can you shed some more light on how/why…

Thanks for chiming in! We have come a long way from hiding away trying to fix the issue before communicating to our customers. Now we let them know as soon as an issue is detected This is so great to hear! Our service desk IVR message encourages people to check the Statuspage for incidents before raising a call Are you…

Hi Émile, there is an endpoint in the Status API which you can use to update the components a subscriber is subscribed to. Head over to your status page URL and append '/api' to it, then navigate to the "Subscribers" section and find "Tuning subscription components". Example: https://acmeapico.statuspage.io/api#subscribers…

Yes! Excellent job with this article... a lot of good ideas in there, Nick!

@Matt Cowley Thanks for chiming in! One of the most impactful things you can do to get your status page in front of your user's eyes is embedding it in web properties your users are already aware of/looking at (your user interface, help center, website footer, etc.) Nick shared this and more tips for promoting & marketing…

Well said, Simon. We agree! We're big believers in getting a message out right away, even if you don't really know what's going on yet. If something is obviously wrong, let your users know you're investigating a problem. Add more details as they become available, but communicate early.

I wonder if there would be a way for Statuspage to provide the baseline guidance, and customers can take them and "tweak" them based on their business requirements? Perhaps this is dynamic so when its updated by Atlassian, the page is updated too ... Certainly an interesting idea! I wonder how broadly something like this…

@Nick Coates I love this! Thanks for chiming in. Super curious about the structure, content, & purpose of those internal guides you mentioned. Wonder if there is additional content we could be creating so that customers don't have to create their own guides? Hmm...

Thanks @Craig Holland. I chatted with our product team about this and made sure a feature request was logged for this. This has come up a couple times in the past, and I definitely agree it would be useful. Your use case fits that of what I think a lot of people would like to use Statuspage for - easily consuming the…

Hi @Trey Arnold thanks for the question! We don't have an ETA at this time. Curious if you can provide some additional context on your use case for this though, if you don't mind sharing?
-
Hi Robert, thanks for the question here! We have a feature we call Third-party Components. You can enable this under the Components section and you'll see Atlassian is offered as a third-party component provider there (including Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud as specific components) We don't currently have Boomi included…

Hi Tony, Jake here from the Statuspage team. We have a feature in the backlog for this but it hasn't been prioritized at this time, so I'm afraid we don't have an ETA on this right now. I've gone ahead and linked this post to that internal ticket so our product team is aware of your request! Jake

Hi Dominiek, we currently support uploading .csv files only. When you upload a .csv file, it will overwrite/update all of the existing subscribers. You can find information on exporting subscriber and importing subscribers below. * Exporting subscribers * Importing subscribers

@Ian Lewis thanks for the feedback!

Hi Nick, do you mind linking to this particular maintenance post so I can see it? Given the information you've provided. I'm inclined to suggest marking this maintenance as "completed" and including a note that it's been rescheduled under a new maintenance event (linking to the new post as you've suggested). This seems…

Hi Nick, great question here! We were going to go down the path of one maintenance each day, but not sure if this would be the best way. Curious what the reason was for not going down that path? This is really the route I would suggest. It would require a bit more management on your end starting/ending maintenances but…

Hi Aleksey, I'm Jake with the Statuspage team. Can you clarify what exactly you're looking to accomplish? You can consume the status information from that page by using the end points here: https://status.mypurecloud.com/api, or you could subscribe via Email, SMS, or Webhook to be notified about incidents.

Hi Stephane, this is definetely something that's still on our radar. We actually conducted several customer interviews about this feature a few weeks back, so we're in the beginning stages of getting the wheels spinning on this. We don't have an ETA right now but we'll follow up on this thread once we do.

API keys are not associated with Page Access Users. API keys are tied to a Team Member (admin) account, so it's expected that you would get the same results when you pull a list of Components, no matter which API key you use (because both users are admins requesting a list of components on the page). It sounds like you're…

Hi Morten, Jake here with the Statuspage support team. While we don't offer a native integration with Nagios, we do have an API you can leverage to automatically update Statuspage. It's possible you could build some tooling on your side so that Components are updated / Incident are created based on events/actions in…
-
Hi Darrin, thanks for the question. I'm afraid we don't have a great solution for this use case right now. We've tossed around the idea of having "private" 3rd party components, where you can share components across your own pages. Its possible we'll add this functionality in the future, but it's not currently on the…

IP Whitelisting is a legacy feature that we need to enable for you on our end. Can you send us an email at hi@statuspage.io with a link to your page? We'll be happy to get this turned on for you.
