Did you already have a look at these endpoints: https://docs.atlassian.com/jira-software/REST/7.3.1/#agile/1.0/board/{boardId}/sprint?

If the project has been deleted by an administrator there's no way to undo this unless there's a backup of the instance available. But maybe your project isn't deleted and your user account simply lost the writes to access it?... Your account needs at least the "browse project" permission to see the project. In any way,…

Looks like an interesting improvement to me. Feel free to open up a feature request for that. Here you can find information on how to do this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/billing-and-licensing-evaluator-resources/customization-and-professional-services/can-i-request-a-feature Please update the misleading and…

I'm sorry but I don't get the point of this question. Can you explain this in more detail? https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-5913 is resolved and so it is already possible to edit sections on a Confluence page. For more information on how to layout pages in Confluence see:…

Why is it happening so? Because "Closed" is not mapped to the very last column of the board. You have to map both status "Closed" and "Done" in the last column of the board, if you want them to be accounted in the velocity chart of the board. Also do you say that if the issue has been mapped to more than one sprint it will…
-
The velocity is calculated by the scrum board. It basically counts all issues moved to the very right column of the board as "done within the sprint". So your board configuration has to map all the status that you and your team consider as "done" in this column (and only there). Can you describe in more detail, what you…

This looks like a custom field to me i.e. that field has been configured specifically for your JIRA instance by an administrator. If that is so, you have to contact your JIRA administrator for future information on how the values of this field are set/ calculated/ etc.
-
Workflow Enhancer for Jira may help you with that. This add on executes post functions depending on Boolean values. You can enter any Boolean expression and any post function to execute if that expression resolves to true or false, respectively.

This can be achieved by configuring the columns of the Kanban boards accordingly. So given this simplified example that my workflow is "Open" > "In Progress" > "Resolved" > "Closed" and I have a dev and a productions service Kanban board. I would configure the dev board to have 3 columns that map "Open" > "In Progress" >…

I'm glad I could help. If this add-on should suite your requirements, mark my answer as solution, so others can see that this question is resolved.

Yes, this could be a problem, since the plugin only supports Jira Server 7.2.0 - 7.8.2 https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.almworks.structure.gantt/server/versionhistory

Have a look at Trello Sync for Jira. Trello Sync for Jira app synchronizes data between Trello and Jira. Using different configurations, you can connect your Jira project to Trello board or your Trello board to Jira project. You can also set full synchronization between Trello and Jira (two-way synchronization).

Did you already have a look at Structure for Jira - Projects at Scale? This is all about bringing hierarchy to your JIRA projects.
-
Did you have a look at the Confluence Issue Tab Plugin? JIRA plugin that adds a Confluence tab to each issue, allowing an issue-specific Confluence page to be created or viewed. To set this up, first create an application link from JIRA to Confluence. Next, create a project link from your JIRA project to a Confluence space…

I was able to create the personal space. Here's what I did: * Downloaded SoapUI Open Source * Created a new SOAP Project Initial WSDL: http://<confluence-install>/rpc/soap-axis/confluenceservice-v2?wsdl * Request "login"<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"…

Thank you for the hint, @Minh Tran! I'll have a closer look into that. Since my coding skills got a bit rusty over the last years, this may take some time... :-/ To use the REST api would be a lot easier for me, do you maybe know of any planes to implement that function in the upcoming releases?

As far as I know, this is a Cloud only feature at the moment. So if you're running JIRA Service Desk on a server, this option isn't available yet.
-
this query works on all of our servers. Maybe you're on the wrong database?
-
Did you try this solution here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/MySQL-query-to-return-users-in-specific-groups/qaq-p/407461 ?
-
aaahhh... try this project = TEST AND issuetype = "Task" AND "Start Date" > startOfDay(-80d) AND "Start Date" < endOfDay(-80d)
-
ok, since we don't have the "Start Date" field in our instance, I tried to find issues created exactly 2 days ago and was able to find them like this: createdDate >= -3d AND createdDate <= -2d So, assuming your Start Date works similar, this should give you all the issues in question: project = TEST AND issuetype = "Task"…

The burndown chart (and the gadget) is connected to the scrum boards configuration. You have to change the "estimation" setting of that board from hours to story points. Board > Configure > Estimation > Estimation Statistic
-
Have you tried one of these solutions? https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/tracking-the-time-taken-for-each-workflow-transition-126910724.html Edit: Just realized that you're using JIRA Cloud... so options #2 and #3 are not suitable for you. Sry.

In that case I would use 3 different "escalated" status and configure Services Desk to only show "escalated" to the customer for all of these steps. You can configure the status shown to the customer for every request type manually and "disconnected" from the actual workflow status. You can then use different post…

That will solve the problem with the delimiters but be advised that indexing a custom text field takes much longer than it would if the field would be numeric. So adding numerous custom text fields may slow down the overall performance of your JIRA instance by quite a bit.

The knowledge base article is missing that configuration. Would be great if someone from the Atlassian team could add this information on how to configure a Windows service for remote access to the JMX monitoring. The current version of this article only lists setenv.sh and setenv.bat as possible configuration…
-
Thank you for the hint, Branden. Since I'm running JIRA as a Windows Service, sudo wasn't "the problem". Meanwhile I was able to fix the problem. Here's what I did: * cmd: JIRA\bin>tomcat8w.exe //ES//*JIRA-service-name-here* * Added the following Options in tap JAVA-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=*remote-port.here*…

The velocity in a Scrum board is related to all issues being transitioned from the leftmost column to the rightmost column of the board. So may first guess to archive the situation you described, you need to map the "Waiting for Prod Deploy" status also to the rightmost column of the board.
