Hi Jonathan, We have not fixed this yet, but if you reach out to support we should be able to help you: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud Alastair

Hi Dave Sorry about that - it looks like we missed updating an error message state. Since your account is managed by Google, you will have to use an App password instead of your password: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/app-passwords-828781300.html We'll get that error message fixed ASAP. Tài, Both paths should work. Which one isn't working for you? Thanks, Alastair

Hi Yuvam, You can use the diffstat endpoint in the 1.0 API to get a list of modified files: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/changesets-resource-296095208.html#changesetsResource-GETstatisticsassociatedwithanindividualchangeset For more info and related discussion, see this post:…

Hi Alex, Try logging out of Bitbucket (click your avatar in the bottom left -> log out) which will log you out of Atlassian account. Then try logging in with your new email address. Unless you have two Atlassian accounts, that should update your account to use the new email address on your Atlassian account. Hope that…

Hi Bert, Thanks for your question. At this time, I can't think of a way to do this more easily; you'll either need to get the approvals again (for the second PR) or temporarily disable the merge check. The branches have no way of 'knowing' their place in the hierarchy. I'm sure it could get pretty complex pretty fast, but…

Hi there, The Subversion importer has been disabled indefinitely. Instead, we recommend converting your Subversion repository to a Git repository locally and then importing the new repository. See this handy guide for steps on how to do it: https://www.atlassian.com/git/tutorials/migrating-overview For clarity, we will…

Hi Philippe, Thank you for your question - and for using the two products! Bitbucket and Jira have separate group management systems, so there is no way to connect or link groups between the products to achieve what you describe. You will need to manage the permissions separately between the two products. Thanks, Alastair…

Yes, there is. It is: https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/13895/default-merge-strategy

Hi Adam, Thanks for your question. When we say "Access controls don't apply to add-ons," we mean that any add-ons you've installed for your team will continue to work even if you've enforced an access control (such as IP whitelisting). This is because if access controls did apply to add-ons and you enforced an IP…

Hi Brian, Thanks for your answer. We really want to get to the bottom of this - if you have a chance, could you email support@bitbucket.org with your account details? It would be very helpful - thanks! Alastair

Hi y'all, If any of you are still experiencing this issue, we would appreciate it very much if you could open a support ticket (either at support.atlassian.com or by emailing support@bitbucket.org) This is proving to be a hard one to pin down without account-specific details, so including steps to reproduce the issue (or a…

Hi John, Yes. Atlassian account supports Google authentication. Thanks! Alastair
-
Johannes' answer is pretty much spot on - you can easily remove that user's access from the Plan details page in team settings. Find the user in the list, and click the 'x' icon next to their name to remove. Hope that helps. Alastair
-
Hi Damjan, Good question. You've hit the nail on the head - without read access, you can't remove yourself as a reviewer. This is unfortunate, and something we need to take another look at. In the meantime, you'll need to get in touch with someone with write access in order to get yourself removed. Alastair

Hi Ruslan, Your Bitbucket username is listed on your account settings page under "Bitbucket profile settings." Hope that helps! Alastair
-
Hi John, Apologies for the inconvenience. Try logging in to SourceTree using your Bitbucket username and your Atlassian account password. That should work, but if you have any questions shoot us an email (support at bitbucket dot org). Thanks!

Hi Mike, That documentation is for Bitbucket Server, which supports the default merge strategy feature. Bitbucket Cloud is a separate product with a slightly different featureset. A default merge strategy is not yet available, but since we just released squash-on-merge, it's something we want to add to cloud soon. Alastair

Hi David, I'm sorry that you've had a poor experience as a result of the upgrade. The upgrade does not affect permissions - it only changes which email/password you log in with, which you can still change if you like. I'd love to chat with you a bit more about how we can clarify and remedy your situation; if you'd like to…
-
Hi Mark, No, after the upgrade you will need to log in with your Atlassian account email address; you won't be able to log in with secondary email addresses. In your case, I recommend either 1) Logging in to each product using separate email addresses, or 2) Creating a work Bitbucket account using your work email and then…
-
Hi Mark, The upgrade process will key off your primary Bitbucket email address. Does that help? Alastair
-
Hi Mark, Thanks for your questions. The Atlassian account upgrade only changes the way you log in to your existing Bitbucket account - it simply enables you to use one set of credentials to log in to multiple services. Is this saying that my personal Bitbucket account and my corporate JIRA account need to be joined? If you…
-
Hi Shayne, No, it is not a premium restriction - in fact, new team API keys can not be created anymore (existing team API keys continue to work). This is a very recent change that has not been properly documented; we're updating the documentation right now - apologies for that. We recommend instead using…

Got it. Indeed, LFS storage is separate from regular repository storage.
-
Hi Joao, Storage allocation is based on size of your user plan. See here for a breakdown: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BITBUCKET/Storage+policy+for+Git+LFS+Beta+with+Bitbucket
-
Hi Andy, Thanks for your question. Yes, this change was deliberate; repository avatars have been replaced with project avatars. Thanks, Alastair
-
Hi Steve, For an individual account, yes, it's the username. However, if you are publishing a website under a team account, it'll be the team ID - hence the generic term "account name." Sorry for the confusion! Alastair
-
Hi Lance It's not currently available, but we're currently working on it. Check this page for more updates - it was just updated today! https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/8995/provide-the-option-to-use-git-merge-squash Alastair

Make sure you are logging in using your primary email address and password. This is the same email address shown on the migration screen. If you're getting the 'choose your username' screen, it likely means you're trying to log in with a secondary email address, which is no longer supported.
-
Indeed, sorry about that! You can email us directly without having to log in.
