Hi @Parvathy Manishanker davey I think first you need to decide what you are trying to achieve - Jira Administration only, Jira System Administration, Jira Development, Jira Consultant or mix of everything. Since you are a project manager and it seems like Jira Administration is something extra that you have do a new…

Just use it in the comment or log. I shared above the output of {{changelog}}

Hi @Andile Luvuno That is what mail handlers can do, adding comments for further replies to an email. Take a look at this page to check how it should be configured. Ravi
-
Hi @Ramya Yarru Take a look at this page where you will find some idea on how to check if the sprint is active or not. I hope it helps. Ravi

Hi @Layton Everson Interesting question. For self transitions (I guess that's what you have) you can configure a rule to trigger on Transition where from and to status are same. Jira's issue history will still have this information which you are access using this smart value. {{changelog}} This will give you something like…
-
Hi @jlee Status is not a field. Change in status can happen due to a transition. If you look at your workflow then you will find triggers and post functions. Triggers will let you make a transition from an external system like Bitbucket. Post Functions will let you do things after transitions has happened. Also there is an…

Hi @sujin_yoon I believe what you can do is create a listener that will run a script to create an issue and add watchers to that issue. The listener can look for issue create/update event and you can add logic in the code to check the value of the security level. Take a look at the scripts on this page. These scripts will…

Hi @[deleted] Within a permission scheme you need to use "Browse Projects" permission. Anyone assigned this permission can access the project. In your case I think your projects' permission schemes should have "Any logged in user" or a group like jira-software-users assigned to "Browse Projects" which you need to limit.…

Hi @Ken Trying to understand your question. Do you want to display the date/time of the last comment & the comment which is shared with the customer. First, take a look at this script to understand how to get comment visibility. For the last comment try this script. I hope it helps. Ravi

Hi @Minu Murali Possible. Trigger: Field value changed Fields to monitor for changes: Issue Type For: All issue operations Use the following smart values to access previous and new issue type name. from {{fieldChange.fromString}} to {{fieldChange.toString} Then you can use this modify summary again, however I am not sure…
-
Good to know that.
-
So try to use {{webhookResponse.body}} and make sure you select Wait for response checkbox.
-
Hi @Laura Guzman Trying to understand your question. You can access the response that you get from the REST call using the following smart value. {{webhookResponse.body}} Let me me know if this is what you were looking for? Ravi
-
Hi @Jeff Hayes That is also possible. I suggest you take a look at our script library where we have plenty of examples. For instance this script will give you an idea about how to update a custom field value. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Jeff Hayes The custom field value that you want to fetch is for a specific issue. Each issue in Jira has a unique key. For instance issues in project with key PRJ will be like PRJ-1, PRJ-2, PRJ-3 etc In the code I shared replace ISSUEKEY-1 with the relevant issue key. This key is displayed in the address bar in your…

I missed the issue object. import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.issue.Issue import com.atlassian.jira.issue.IssueManager import com.atlassian.jira.issue.MutableIssue def customField = ComponentAccessor.getCustomFieldManager().getCustomFieldObjectsByName("Value Statement Impact")…

Hi @Brandon Viertel Are you trying with a screen reader? I believe this page has information related to accessibility and on this page Atlassian did mention (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. You can try contacting Atlassian for accessibility issues by sending an email. Ravi
-
Did you try the modified code? I believe it should give you a list like this - [option1, option2, option3]
-
Hi @Jeff Hayes What is the type of your custom field? I modified your code slightly. import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.issue.Issue import com.atlassian.jira.issue.fields.CustomField CustomField customField =…

Hi @Mukthadir Sikdar Trying to understand your requirements. Do you want to transition parent or delete sub task? If you want to delete a sub-task when parent is transitioned then you can try this. Branch rule: Sub-tasks Condition: Issue Type: Sub-task Action: Permanently remove this issue This rule will work but I would…
-
Hi @[deleted] It depends on the process followed in your organisation. Creating a new project in Jira is a simple task but your Jira Administrators will probably check with you the purpose of the project, whether you need business, software or service management project. Also each project need to have the right set of…
-
Hi @Raffaele Litto You can use the standard smart value to get the issue fields. {{issue.fields.customfield_XXXXX}} You can use this REST end point "JIRAURL/rest/api/latest/field" to find the Sprint field's customfield id. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
I made couple of videos explaining how it works. To get started you can check this one here. There is another example where I showed how to create a project using REST API. I find "Send web request" feature really useful for integrating with other systems. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
@Balamurugan Sethuraman Yes you can do that as well. There is an action called "Send web request" where you can call external system's REST API. You can trigger this to happen on let us say transition and pass the issue key with the new status in the body to update status in another system.
-
I doubt if this can be achieved with behaviour because users in the user picker are picked from the database. What I was trying to say is that instead of behaviour you can certainly check if these 2 fields have same values while creating a new issue or in a transition screen.
-
Ok, then try using Script validator in the workflow and keep those 2 fields on transition screen and not edit screen.
-
Hi @nagarjun0979 I am not sure about this one. Did you try something already? What is your objective here? May be there is another way to solve that problem. Ravi
-
Hi @Sofia Grunspan Yes possible. Take a look at this rule. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @MyDentons Support You should be able to use Automation rules to achieve that. Take a look at this screenshot of the rule. I hope it helps. Ravi

Try pressing "c", not sure how it will work on iPad.
