Thanks @Gargi Banerjee for sharing this. When can we expect these reports to be available?
-
Hi @Chris Berry Sprint end dates and due dates will not be in sync, but you can always create an automation rule to update the due date when the sprint value changes. I hope it helps.

Hi @Lubomir Glinsky Did you get any errors while creating a new site? 1. Go to https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira 2. Click on "Create a new site" and wait for few minutes. That is it.
-
Hi @Doug Smith If you are using a JSM project then the native SLA can be used to get these numbers. Otherwise this information can be fetched using reporting apps. You can check eazyBI or for Time in Status: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219732/time-in-status?hosting=cloud&tab=overview I hope it helps. Ravi

@Yana Baklaikina The security level cannot on its own be inherited to child issues. As @Marc -Devoteam- mentioned you can create post function to set the default security levels based on assignee, reporter, group or may be a value from the user picker field. Automation rule can potentially be used here to set the security…

It is working for me, I tried today. What error are you getting?

Hi @Anca Cristescu If you are on DC then you can create a plan across multiple projects. Not sure if you have any hierarchy but you can have some levels above your Epics. Something like Initiatives > Epic > Story > Sub-tasks Project 1 can just be for Initiatives. Other projects can have Epics and stories. You can create a…

Hi @Rob Horan I don't think if anything has changed or not, personally I don't bother much about certifications or books. I work with people involved with Jira everyday - they are either users of Jira or admins or developers and I have hired lot of Jira Admins/Consultants/Developers, I never look at their certifications to…

@mohanbabu.s Without any app the best thing you can do is use the native Time Tracking feature in Jira. - Use the Original Estimate field for each issue (or may be Story Points) - Assign those issues to the users - Ask them to log their time - See how you can use Sprints for planning - Use native Burndown and Velocity…

@Jeremiah Each status in Jira need to part of To Do, In Progress and Done category. Usually "On Hold" or "Waiting" statuses are part of In Progress category. To be honest it doesn't really matter unless it is a Done category. Issue will go to On Hold or Waiting after some activity so I would keep using the In Progress…

@Rajesh Kumar Yes, your thinking is good. You can create a separate task for ENG and QA. This may seem cumbersome but it will help you estimate and plan properly. Also there will be separation of duties with clear ownership. You can also use automation to create a linked QA task from the ENG task after certain stage in the…

Hi @satya When you say last active date. Are you trying to find our when the dashboard was used? Dashboards are usually based on filters, which have issues under it. If you objective is to clean up old dashboards then there is no straight forward way of doing it. You will have to check the filters, their owners, and also…

@Bassel.Kharwat Portal only comes with a JSM project. Maybe you need to access your setup again - I am didn't get why you can't use JSM project? It already comes with a portal. Maybe you want to expose the internal Jira Software issues? or you want customers to raise tickets/issues directly in a Jira Software project? Ravi

Hi @Molly Ellis We are an Atlassian Consultancy company based out of UK (and India). Reach out to me on Linkedin and we can discuss your requirements. Ravi

Hi @sai chinamuthevi There is a way to check the usage of a project that will tell you where the role is being used - which permission or notification scheme. I hope it helps. Ravi

Hi @bruno_bobichon Versions are project specific. There are few options though. 1. You can create the version with same name in all the projects but those versions are still different and project specific. There are apps or automation you can use to sync the versions. 2. If your deliverables are in different projects then…

@Ree Kent Thanks. Is it possible for your to check why my support tickets were not generated. I filled up the form to raise a ticket, twice but never got any email and my open request doesn't show any recently created ticket.
-
@Ree Kent I raised two support ticket request for 6 month extension but I haven't received any email with ticket number. I also don't see anything when I go to my open requests section.

@Ree Kent I received this on 28th Mar. How will free courses and attending event extend my certificates? I don't see this information on the certificate portal. Is it implemented already or yet to be announced. Thanks
-
@Ree Kent To renew your Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Data Center ACP-JA ACP-100 you can complete courses on Atlassian University and/or attend Atlassian events. Just to confirm, you need to renew this certification before December of this year. So I can complete a free course or attend Atlassian events to…

Hi @Joanna Mae Natial I believe by automatic response you want to send them a notification? When you move the ticket to "In Progress" use a transition screen in your workflow with a comment for the customer and configure the notifications to be sent out to your customers on status change with a comment. Ravi
-
Hi @James The best thing to do to troubleshoot notifications is to use the Notification Helper. Please Ctrl + K to find it. Enter the user, issue and event you want to check. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Alexandre PERRIER There is no straight forward way to achieve this. May be just create an internal ticket for your It team to track the due date and possibly write some automation to remove those users from the relevant groups. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Prerna Rao This would be super useful. Ravi
-
Hi @Eric Bailey Well yes, because the task was never fully complete or reopened. A simple solution would be to create two tasks, which has its own problems because it is more work but because the deployment tasks is done by someone else which in a way is dependent on the development task to finish. Make sure the tasks are…

Hi @Millie Stevinson There is a roadmap gadget and along with that use the FixVersion field in other gadget to see issues under it. Ravi

Hi @BenWade Sprints are on boards not projects but one board can have issues from multiple projects. Is that the case? Ravi
