Hi @Pou Yang Gan There is a project specific roadmap that can be used as well. However I would say even advanced roadmaps are not very complicated with little bit of training. There are apps that can provide roadmap, whether you want a read only report kind of view or something that users can change depends on the app.…

Hi @Mike Francis That is what customer do on the Jira Service Management portal. They go to the portal and raise requests. There are some permissions for the customers as well but usually they see their own requests and tickets shared with them. Portal has a widget that you can embed on a website as well. You can also try…

Hi @jira_admin_cu There are no ready made report but you can always fetch this information from Jira database or using ScriptRunner for Jira. For instance this page has some useful SQL queries to get user login details. Similar information can be fetched from other table in Jira. You may want to check Jira database schema…

Hi @Meghanand Baraskar If the field is not available in the drop down then you can use the addition field text area where you need to pass proper JSON. You can also use smartvalues there but the overall content should be a JSON. I suggest you to take a look at Jira REST API reference documentation to know more.…

Automation - the in built rules on Jira cloud. I am glad you found my videos useful. I also have a separate course in ScriptRunner for Jira on Cloud. Ravi
-
Hi @dD You are right about this. What about using Automation rule instead? It has cron expression option. May be you can try to use automation rule along with Script Listener if your automation is a bit complex. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Sayi_Iynapurapu Create issue has its own dedicated operation with its own screen which you can modify using the screen scheme of your project. Ravi
-
Hi @Jacob Midtvik Diterichson You can create a webhook which can be then triggered from your workflow's post function. It is simple to configure. Take a look here. Ravi
-
Hi @Martin Beke You can always get the issue's JSON data and check how data is stored using this end point. /rest/api/3/issue/abc-123 In your rule what are the field types? Also take a look at the smart value documentation to learn how to fetch values. Ravi

Hi @Dimitrios Danampasis That is correct approach - to first do it on a test environment. Post upgrade checks depends on the apps but there few things like checking the release notes of those apps and go through the functionality of the apps is what I do. Some apps always work but there are some apps where I am a bit more…

Hi @Donna Johnston Advanced Roadmaps comes with Jira Premium. The view you are looking at is within the plan and yes the plan can be configured to use story points. Ravi
-
Hi @Andy Nidodaiev Yes you would need to create your own integration. You can utilise Jira REST API for doing that. You can also develop an app as well. Ravi
-
Hi @[deleted] The burndown chart will show you the report per sprint for a specific board but you can use an app like eazyBI to create a combined burndown chart or just a simple report showing this total number. Ravi

Hi @Pete P Removing issue type from the scheme and migrating issues is the best option. If you have ScriptRunner for Jira then you can use Behaviours to hide that issue type. Using workflow validator can work but it is not a good user experience where the message is displayed after clicking a button to create the issue. I…
-
Hi @Tanu Have you written some code already which is not working? Ravi
-
Hi @Omid H_ Fields are displayed on issue when they are added to view screen. You cannot conditionally show/hide them based on status. What is your use case? There might be another way to achieve your requirements. Ravi
-
Hi @Ramiro Justet No that is not possible. You need to give them admin rights. If you need to do this to give access within a project then use projects roles which can be managed by Project Admins. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Sushmitha Not straight forward way but let me share what you can do. There is no date compare function on Jira Cloud. There is a feature request as well. So you can use the automation to update the issue may be a custom field on resolve or done transition. The rule will check if the date on which the transition is done…
-
Hi @Ismailcan Sezer They have to add others as a participants by sharing the request with them or with an organisation. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Mario Amaya You can always create a link between Initiative and Epics. However if you use Jira premium it comes with Advanced Roadmaps to manage it for you where you can configure your hierarchies. Otherwise to visualise this hierarchy based on issue links you can also look at Structure app. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @vshnu raj How this label was added? on issue creation? Apart from workflow postfunction you may also want to check any automation rule that might be removing this label. Ravi
-
Hi @Jim Stewart If you are on Cloud then you can export the page to word which can later be imported in another Confluence. You will find these options if you click on three dots on top right of your page. You can also go to space settings and export the whole space as an xml, which can be imported. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Thanks @Damien Davis :) You can search on my site and labels are clickable that will show related content. For example this one related to ScriptRunner. Or may be you are talking about hashtags? Ravi
-
Hi @[deleted] If you want an integration solution that works for both cloud and server then using Jira REST API is a safer option. Your application can talk to your instances using REST API to create an issue or retrieve them. You can find the details of these APIs here.…

Hello, When you say share with others, do you want them to look at the project issues, contribute or view reports/dashboards? If you want them to contribute then you would need to add them to your Jira instance as a user. Ravi
-
Hi @Fernando André What is the end point you are using? Also post the snippet of the JSON response where you are seeing the status. Ravi
-
Hi @Prakriti Arora There could be some issue with the connected email. Did you check the email logs? You can learn about it here. Ravi
-
Hi @Nacho García-Robledo This is the limitation of the basic project specific roadmap. You would need to either use Advanced Roadmap (Jira Premium plan) or use an app like BigPicture. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @zzphqazz To restrict access to project it will be much convenient to use the Browse Project permission instead of Issue Security Scheme that works on individual issue. Boards give you lot of flexibility to view and manage issue from one or multiple projects. So I also think using multiple projects makes sense in your…

Hi @Marco Girasoli Changes done in the Advanced Roadmap plan stay in the plan until you commit them. Once committed the project issue details will be updated and that information is captured in the issue's change history. Change done on the issue directly are applied immediately and Advanced Roadmap will simple show those…
