Hi Paul, There are apps that might give you some of what you are looking for, otherwise you can write simple shell scripts to access this information using Jira REST API. Ravi

Hi @Young Cho These are the limitations of Jira reports, inbuilt reports are great but you can't customise them a lot. I personally use eazyBI a lot for a bit more customised reporting. There are other reporting apps that you can take a look at on the marketplace. Ravi

Hi @Craeg Strong Interesting questions. Apart from adding a flag which can be done natively in Jira I am not aware of any app that can add stickers on cards. Card colours can however change based on fields but that is it. Ravi

Hi @Weronika Cegiełko Are you trying to pick up values from the body of the email, in that case you would need either a custom mail handler or write a listener to do it for you post issue creation. Do you have ScriptRunner for Jira? Also those users need to be there in Jira already as active users. Ravi
-
Hi @Hamza D_ Have you looked at Created vs Resolved Gadget in your Jira instance? Ravi
-
Hi @Sreenadh Share what workflow you have created. To trigger notifications from the workflow transitions you can use a post function to trigger a custom event (which you need to create) then make sure that custom event is also used in the notification scheme of the project. Ravi

Hi @serge calderara This is a typical ITSM process and you can do that using JSM on Cloud as well. That create a problem button could be achieve using a workflow transition. You can use automation rule to create a problem and link it back to the original ticket and so on. From those linked tickets you can either copy…

Hi @Kate You need to do this using Issue Security Level called Hidden mapped to Jira Administrator. This should not be the default level. I don't have a script to change the security level. I guess you already have ScriptRunner for Jira? I am sure if you find something if you search online. Otherwise you can also bulk edit…

@Piotr Zadrożny _Eyzee_ Nicely explained. Automation on Jira Cloud is a life saver. This solution can be tweaked to cover more use cases as well. Ravi

Hi, What is the resolution (field) of the issue after being re-opened. Also what is the JQL of the assigned to me queue? Ravi

Read this page, may be it will help. https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/page-tree-is-missing-in-space-navigation-sidebar-and-space-is-missing-homepage-1050548184.html Also check for any error in your browser developer console. Did you insert any macros as well? Ravi
-
Hi @Rama I don't really think Structure can show the historical data. However if you have eazyBI then you can create a report to change change in values over the period of time. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Anush Chatikyan Yes you can use automation to transition linked issues. I actually made a detailed video explaining how to do this on Jira Cloud. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Josefina Liebert Is it just this one space or other spaces as well missing the sidebar? Ravi
-
Hi @Anh Dinh You can do a bulk update of the existing issues to update the status to waiting for approval after changing the workflow. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Ben Thoma and @Julia Thanks for the update. I have a question. Current I have "Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator for Data Center and Server (ACP-JA)", previously I used "Advanced Jira Workflows" to renew the main certification but since this exam is retired can I do "Issue Security in Jira" instead to maintain my…
-
Hi @Inna S The life cycle is defined for the issues not the releases in Jira using workflow. You then use JQL queries issues that are in a fixVersion which released. Something like. fixVersion in releasedVersions(SSP) SSP is the project key. I hope it helps. Ravo
-
Hi @Karthik Kaliki (EXTERNAL) What is the Jira version and licence of your source instance? Ravi
-
Hi @Edward Treanor In Jira you can link issues together using Issue Linking features. When linking issues you can specify link type like blocks, blocked by etc but Jira will not do anything to automatically push blocked issues dates but you have few options. * Use basic roadmaps to visualise linked issues * Evaluate Plans…
-
Hi @Dean Robinson Are you referring to a queue within a JSM project? JSM queues are within a project and will let you define different buckets of tickets that can be monitored by various people responsible for Incidents, Urgent Incidents, Service Request etc. Yes, queues can be configured using a JQL but filters on the…
-
Hi @Gnanabaskar This information can be fetched from issue's change history using ScriptRunner for Jira in a scripted field. Ravi
-
Hi @Ohad Perry What are you going to do with those issue where story points is greater than time in status? Story points or original estimates are fields to capture complexity or effort whereas time in status would tell you if there are certain issues that are blocked. Ravi
-
Hi @Charlotte Bish If you export your Jira issue from Issue navigator to CSV/Excel then you will find a column called "Links" which is "Linked issues". You can also use a JQL like this. issue in linkedIssues("TMPS-7", blocks) There are some apps that can give you a visual report like Structure. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Enis Aydoğan You can do this using automation rule. Have you tried using automation? Ravi
-
Hi @Dean Kadar You can use Jira Service Management in that case, it comes with SLAs. Other solutions could be to use ScriptRunner to create a scripted field or use an app like eazyBI to create a bug report showing the time it takes to resolves vs expected time for various priorities. You would need to create a custom MDX…
-
Hi @padraik For ranking there is a permission called "Schedule Issues" which can be assigned to a role, but is is not specific to an issue type. May be you can use another project for Initiative and Epics? Then it should work. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Absa Thiam Please elaborate your question? Are you trying to generate a report automatically? What have you tried so far? Start with create Jira dashboard with various gadgets like pie chart and two dimensional filter statistics. Ravi
-
Hi @VenkataRamakrishna Pallapothu (Contractor) Do you want to know when the status (used in a workflows) was created? Ravi
-
Hi @hemanth motto Usually customers/clients don't raise a bug usually an incident, in any case your client will get notification if the team resolved the same issue that was raised by the customer and you have notifications configured to send emails. If your development team created a bug in a separate project which is…

Hi @Shashikant Mahadik Not out of the box, you can either build automation to roll up numbers to above level. It may not be straight forward but possible. I normally rely on eazyBI to build a report to show progress at higher levels. If you are already using Advanced Roadmaps then eazyBI can use that hierarchy to show you…
