Hi @Anateus Yes you can create different context for those list type fields. That is what contexts are for. Ravi

Hi @Anas Kadambalath Please elaborate a bit more. What tools are involved? To start with Automation take a look at the library: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library You can also invoke these rules from outside using webhook or make a REST call from within Jira. I hope it helps. Ravi

Hi @Diana Dvorska It should not happen. Only the 15 incomplete issues should be moved to the next sprint. You are also setting the resolution of the complete items along with status. Ravi
-
Hi @Raimon Colmenares It really depends on your use case. Jira's built in automation tool is quite good already but I personally prefer using ScriptRunner for Jira on Cloud, although it is limited by what REST API has to offer but it is still better to write scripts to manage complex use cases. I regularly rely on webhooks…

Hi @Mayur Gaikwad/Tech PMO You can retrieve it by performing search using a JQL or a filter. /rest/api/latest/search?jql=filter=1234 I have explained this in a video. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @[deleted] You can't do that for the entire board. I use eazyBI to create a report showing issues status on a specific date. Or you can do it using a JQL using this query. status changed TO Done on "2023/01/01" I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Decebal Bilan Do you have priority field on the epic? Ravi
-
Hi @Eran Nir You can search for the issue either for a specific assignee or a team or en entire project using JQL. Go to Search | Issues | Advanced Search and type in the following JQL resolved >= -24w order by resolutiondate ASC You can further refine it for a specific team member or yourself. assignee = currentUser() and…

Hi @Cyan Lee Out of the box following conditions are available. Looking at your question I don't think you can achieve that without an app. You can use "User is in a Custom Field" and "Value Field" conditions to achieve some of your logic if not all. Ravi
-
Hi @Lars Rasmussen This would be super useful but apart from adding a description in the filter there is no way to add inline comments. I never thought about this before, may be because I never had lot of expectations from JQL :) Ravi
-
Hi @Mark Trotter The native export feature will simply list all the issues but there are fields like Epic Link, Parent Link (Advanced Roadmaps), Parent ID. Not ideal but you can use these fields to reformat your sheet or create some pivots to display hierarchy. I hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Lee Packham You need to control what issues appear in those boards. Is same issue appears on multiple boards (using board filter) then the board will also show associated Sprints. What is the purpose of your master SCRUM board? May be create a KANBAN board instead or rely on a dashboard? I hope it helps. Ravi

Hi @Said Aliyev You can do that using Automation or an app like ScriptRunner? Do you have access to any of these. You need to be a Jira Administrator. Using Automation - Trigger would be a transition to Done state for subtask - Create a branch rule "For Parent" - Add a Related issues condition: Sub-tasks and check if they…

Hi @robertdemartinoxx When you write JQL or search for issues you can find those fields in the autocomplete query with the same name. Ravi

Hi @Cultured Kids I know it is a pain. Switching between different accounts doesn't work perfectly with all the Atlassian products and to keep things absolutely simple I use profiles in my browser. Regards, Ravi
-
Good to know. Thanks.

Hi Susi, No you cannot change the items that appear in the sidebar. Some items appears from the features enabled or disable or some items come from the app but the ones you mentioned cannot be changed. Ravi
-
Hi @Mike Pontillo Are you using Advanced Roadmaps (Plans)? - When you create a plan you have the option to specific weekly capacity of a team. - Create a plan with some SCRUM boards - Stories in those boards will appear on the plan - If you already have Story Points for those stories then this estimation will be used -…

Hi @Prajwal Ashok Nagrale Issue Types are associated to projects using Issue Type Schemes. So you need to do check all those schemes where that issue type is being used. You can create more issue types based on your needs like for Test Management you can create Test Case or Test Campaign. Again this needs to be done from…

Hi @prasad Biddika JSON is a file format. You cannot add conditional logic in it. You have to manage these conditions in your automation. Hope it helps. Ravi
-
Hi @Tammy Shellenberger You can use Jira Software REST API to fetch this information. Here is the reference document: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/software/rest/intro/ I made this video and another one here to demonstrate this. Regards, Ravi
-
You don't have to use it. Just ignore it if you are using GitHub.

Hi @Aya AlJboor Not at the application level. There is no such feature in Jira or JSM to enable/disable access to the projects or portals based on time range. May be you can check with your IT team to do it on the network but why do you want to restrict the access? Let customers raise the tickets and your team can respond…
-
Hi @Ty Root Not in the same board. Board configurations are global for that board and everyone using it. You can create another board with the same issues but honestly it would cause confusion. Sprints are attached to issues and if the issue appears in multiple boards then the sprints will also appear in those boards. You…

Hi @Gokul.Gopinath I do presale all the time and I don't work for a partner anymore. I use my own material but most importantly I setup my own demos so I can explain it nicely to my customers. Usually when we do presale we tweak the demo/presentation based on client's needs. I am sure Atlassian have some material but I am…

Hi @Irena Pavlovic Let us first talk about storing this information in Jira. Use Original Estimate field which is a system field. * Let us say task has an original estimate of 16h * Multiple users would then log time they spent on that task, let us say user a and user b logged 2 hours each on a given day * Natively…
-
Hi @Jonathan Wohlers You need to have Jira Administration rights for doing this. Yes you can rename Issue Type Name and also define a standard that other projects can follow. Ideally create standardised configurations that can be reused. Go this url: JIRAURL/jira/settings/issues/issue-types Take a look at your issue types…

Hi @Nancy Good How did you buy your license? Reach out to your partner or Atlassian support to assist you on this. Regards, Ravi
-
Hi @Vasilis Gen It is possible but you will have to use a paid like ScriptRunner for Jira. It has a feature called Behaviours where you can write a simple script to display dynamic fields. Ravi
-
You need to go to Board settings and then Card layout.
