Hi Aish, The user should be in either the Group OR project role. But to be able to manage sprint a user needs Schedule permissions. So if Fred only has Project Administrator permissions you'll have to add Schedule permissions to the administrator role in the Permission Scheme as well. Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

Hi Tom, The following GET request works for me: /rest/api/latest/search?jql=project=ISD&fields=key,summary This only returns the key and summary of all issues matching the JQL provided. The ID itself is always included. Best, Maarten

Hi Ben, You could achieve these things with Issue Level Security. This way you can configure permissions on an issue-by-issue basis. I suggest you read through the documentation I shared and give it a try (probably best on a TEST environment or project first). Best, Maarten

Hi Sachin, In any board the last column is considered the Done/Closed/Resolved state in a board. (Fe.: In a Scrum Board, when an issue is in the last column, JIRA burns down the story points/time estimate of that issue in its charts). Best, Maarten

Hi NG, First of all, I've moved your question to the BitBucket section of this site as this is where people will search to find the answer to these type of questions. To answer your question: you can take a look at the FAQ of the Bitbucket Pricing page. This clearly states that Atlassian offers free licenses for community…

Hi Barry, Until now you can only use JIRA Cloud together with Trello. If you're on Server, pray with me so that they build this power up as well. :-) So if you're using JIRA Cloud you can enable the JIRA Cloud Power Up through the Power Up section of your Trello board: When you click the "Connect to JIRA" button you're…

Hi Ashish, If you're using the paid version of Trello you are paying a particular amount per user per month. You can see the Pricing section on the Trello website for detailed pricing. A personal option does exists which is called Trello Gold but is not intented to be used within organisations. Hope this helps. Best,…

I've always been receiving email and I've never really took note about the speed at which they were delivered but I just found out that it often takes a long time. As an example, the comment above from Theresa, just arrived in my mailbox. So it seems like there's a delay in the notifications being send/received. (I'm using…

Hi Monique, * I've been receiving email notifications from at least a couple of weeks before the 12th of may (although it's hard to say I receive everything, it certainly feels like it) * Nope, checked it now and couldn't find any Community emails * Email notifications are turned on Extra: I'm using Gmail as my email…

Hi Milos, As far as I know there's not a specific DNS that points directly to Confluence. :-( Best, Maarten

Hi Rama, It sound like your computer (Windows I assume from the use of IE) does not recognize the SourceTree executable as an executable. Are you sure you've been downloading the windows version, which can be found here? Best, Maarten

Hi Milos, The url you can redirect users to for JIRA in the cloud is <company>.atlassian.net while Confluence can be found on <company>.atlassian.net/wiki Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

Hi Robert, As mentioned in this older question, restricted pages will never popup in these user's search results, not even the title. Best, Maarten

Can other Customer Portal Only users login? Please also check the Customer Permissions section in the Project's Administration. Make sure it is set to 'Customers who have an account on this JIRA site' simply to make sure it's not a permissions issue. Best, Maarten

Hi Rex, If you add ORDER BY created ASC to your JQL query, the results are ordered from oldest to newest issues. (Or click on the column containing the creation date, which also orders the results). But I guess you mean some other type of sorting as you specifically mention sorting on creation date year, but I'm not sure…

Hi Drew, Perhaps Crowd SSO is enabled for JIRA? This is not supported and could prevent users from logging into the portal: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/SDKB/Cannot+login+to+Service+Desk+as+local+user+when+Crowd+SSO+is+Enabled Hope this helps, Maarten

Similar to the posts we had during the Community Feedback workshop at AtlasCamp

Hi Przemyslaw, A kanban/scrum board itself is backed by an existing JQL Filter. If you know the filter's name or id you can do the following and add extra clauses to get a more specific result: filter = 123456 AND ... or filter = 'Filter Name' AND ... Best, Maarten

Great initiative, looking forward to more of these sprint reports! :-)

Hi Ram, How do you assign an issue to a group? This is a functionality which is not available in JIRA by default (see JRASERVER-1397). There are a couple of workarounds but depending on which one you use, configuring the notification would be different. Best, Maaren

Hi Asha, You can contact Atlassian Support and they'll be able to gather the details. In the meantime you can check this Upgrade Guide on JIRA. To figure out the version you are on. Login into JIRA, using the Configuration menu at the top right corner -> System. Choose System Info on your left. When the page is loaded you…

Hi Michael, You've posted this question in the Feedback Forum but I think you're either asking a question about JIRA or Confluence? Which of the two are you talking about? Best, Maarten
-
Hi Mark, When you're talking about projects are you talking about issues in JIRA? If you're talking about actual projects in JIRA I'm afraid this won't be possible. In JIRA a project is just a container for one or more issues to be worked on. It defines the configuration, like workflow, issue types, etc for all the issues…

Hi Shilpini, There can be several reasons why compatibility mode gets enabled for a website. For example: your IT administrator might have configured all website with a particular domain (for example, your company's domain) to automatically enable Compatibility View. Here's an article on HowToGeek where they explain you…

Hi Jeremy, An alternative is to use Filter Subscriptions. This way you'll create a filter which is ran every x time and if issues are found, they will be emailed. If you set something up that takes into account the creation date (so an issue only gets emailed once), you avoid spamming these two users. Another way would be…

Make sure to pass the following link to your admin: Troubleshooting WebDav He can check if these things are configured correctly (on either Confluence or Office). Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

I must excuse myself for the wrong information. It does work for me on Chrome and Confluence 6.1 as well. I wasn't aware WebDav is supported by Chrome nowadays. According to this Community Question it started to work from Confluence 5.9.7 (or a certain version of Chrome) @Carolynn: I would suggest to see if it still works…

Hi Loredana, Luckily I have not had this issue myself but I think it will be best if you contact Atlassian Support about this. They might have seen the issue on another instance and might know how to help you. Or you could contact the vendor of the plugins that stopped working. Best, Maarten

Hi Tiffany, Unfortunately this is not possible out-of-the-box yet. You can vote and watch JSDSERVER-3204 or JSDCLOUD-3204 to get updated when they do add support for this. Best, Maarten
-
This is possible in the most recent versions (starting from JSD 7.4.0 at least) of JIRA Service Desk (see screenshot in the answer from Tiffany below). But I'm sure it must have been added in a recent version as I wasn't able to do it either before we upgraded about 6 weeks ago.
