HI Jordan, I've found the following Knowledge Base Article: How to customize the login gadget. There is some more information in the following Community Question as well: JIRA Login page customization Hope this will help. Best, Maarten

Hi Florent, That's strange indeed because as far as I could find and test this does not work and the feature is still open: JSWSERVER-7992 What version of JIRA are you using? Or are you using the Cloud? I guess the project in the board is a JIRA Software project and not a JIRA Core project? Best, Maarten
-
I just gave it a try on my Cloud Test Instance and I don't have any issue there either. What template did you use for the event? (I used Generic Event as a template) Best, Maarten
-
Hi Kathy, I just gave it a try on our JIRA (Server v7.3.4) and the custom event was simply available as an option. I've tried multiple templates for the event but that didn't change anything. The documentation (Adding a custom event) does not mention anything about certain events not being available in a post function so I…

Hi Sumit, Could you pass us with some more details on your system and environment? Java version, database, git client version, etc. On the other hand you could also launch a request at support.atlassian.com as they are perfectly capable of handling errors like this. Best, Maarten

Hi Rob, By default Confluence only supports SSO through Crowd, see Single Sign-on Integration with the Atlassian stack. But luckily there's a company that has created an addon which should help you implement other SSO solutions on Confluence and JIRA: Kantega. Best, Maarten

Hi Hotovaga, First of all you'll need to create a new Custom Field named Test Type. See Adding a custom field for more information. Make sure to pick the right type for the Custom Field. Select Radio Buttons. You'll be asked to enter a name and all available items to select in the next screen. If you want to make sure the…

If git is already installed on your MAC you can find more info on cloning here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/clone-a-repository-223217891.html If it's not installed yet, see my previous answer. :)

Hi Latoshica, There's a couple of ways to link to another Confluence page, you can simply copy the url from the address bar in your browser and paste it when editing the other page. Confluence will automatically convert the url to a pretty-readable-link. All other ways can be found in the documentation: Linking to Pages…

Hi Suyash, Not sure that I get your question right. Are you looking for a tool to keep track of the development activities? In that case JIRA is probably a great choice! If not, please give us a bit more details. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Mahnaz, You can follow this tutorial to get started: https://www.atlassian.com/git/tutorials/install-git Best, Maarten

Hi Simhadri, A license is usually valid for a year and during that year, you'll get free upgrades to new versions released within that period (and support from Atlassian). Bamboo 5.14 was released in October 2016 so I think that should not be a problem. If you really want to be sure you should be able to find your license…

Hi David, I'm not entirely sure what you'd like to do but the first thing that comes to mind is the JIRA Issue Collector which you can configure in JIRA and add to your site using a simple HTML Snippet. You can read more about it on Atlassian's Confluence: Using the issue collector. You can see it in action here (it's an…

Hi Ronen, My screenshot was taken from a private repository and thus a private issue tracker. The watch button is only at the homepage of the repository, not on the issues page. Maybe that's why you can't find it. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Zeina, I've moved your question to the JIRA collection so people will find it more easily. Unfortunately I don't really know the answer to your question but because of better tagging, the right people should be able to take a look at your question faster. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Rohen, If the (public) issue tracker is enabled on your Bitbucket repo you should be able to receive a notification for all new issues created in the project: Not sure about the comments though. Please do let us know if it works! Best, Maarten

Hi Remigiusz, I think this page contains some information about installing SourceTree on a large amount of computers: https://confluence.atlassian.com/sourcetreekb/sourcetree-license-for-corporate-usage-388404078.html Let us know if this is what you were looking for! Best, Maarten

Feedback on the weekly digest email. I've got an email about the 4 likes I received, and according to the email I had been giving these 4 likes to myself ... I guess the name (who liked) is wrong: Or I happen to like myself a lot ;-) Best, Maarten
-
Hi Monohar, There's a plugin available for Confluence Server that should help you set this up: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.hotovo.confluence.amazon-s3-storage-connector/server/overview Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

Hi Sajid, Ok I see. I think you should add these three other statusses to the last column of your Scrum Board as well. This will make sure they are counted as issues that are Done once you close the sprint. Just make sure you can't transition issues from TODO | DEVELOPMENT | TESTING to any of these 3 statusses and you…
-
Hi Sajid, So are these 4 statusses all in the same column on your board? (in the last column?) Or have you assigned the Done status category to all of them? The second option (status category) is not understood as a "Done" status in a Kanban or Scrumboard. Only issues which are in the last column on your board will be…

Hi Shivani, Please also take a look at this older question. It contains a lot of valuable information (similar to the post from Andre). Best, Maarten
-
Hi Aish, Well to be able to start, stop or create sprints the person needs Schedule permissions on every project that has issues on the board. So you should take a look at the filter of the board and see if it also could contain issues from another project and check the permissions there. Let us know if this helps. Best,…

Hi Mamoru, Let's hope they make the change soon! But in the meantime, if you could accept my post as the answer that would help others with the same question in the future! Best, Maarten

If you logout on one device you will be logged out on all other devices. That might explain why you should login on your mobile a lot. And yeah it's a missing feature in the app to remember the password. You can however get that to work with a password manager like LastPass. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Paul, You should remain logged, I'm using Confluence Mobile on my Android (Oneplus Two) as well and I only had to login once in the past months. Could it be because you logout on another device? See https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/getting-randomly-logged-out-of-atlassian-cloud-691011821.html Best, Maarten
-
Hi Ryszard, I could be mistaken but as far as I know you can't like a comment (yet) in standard JIRA. So it might be addon functionality you're talking about. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Mamoru, You can delete the second account when logged in at the following url: https://id.atlassian.com/manage/close-account After you've closed the wrong account, you should be able to change the email on the other. If that does not work I would get in touch with Atlassian Support. Best, Maarten

Hi HongChao, What do you understand with the term Administrator? There's a few different administrator roles within JIRA: * System Administrator: can administer everything, addons, system settings, all projects, etc * JIRA Administrator: can do many administrative tasks except the ones listed on Managing global…

Hi Mamoru, I think this is because the Atlassian Cloud switched to using Atlassian IDs. These are accounts that are managed by the user itself. He or she should be able to change his or her email address by going to http://id.atlassian.com Hope this helps. Best, Maarten
