Hi Neha, Since this is a more technical/development question I think you should head over to the Developer Community Atlassian recently launched. In the meantime you can take a look at the Database schema docs Atlassian provides. Best, Maarten

Hi Shai, While using the Confluence REST API seems to be more of a developer matter I'd like to point you to the new Developer Community that Atlassian recently launched. To not leave you empty handed I think you can use the excerpt property of the response of your search query. This will give you an excerpt and mark the…

Hi Rajiv, This seems to be a development related question. With the launch of the new community, the developer community has been split from this community. You will probably have more luck finding an answer if you as it there. To not leave you empty handed I think you should change the ContentType header…

Hi Young Soo, I've tagged your question with jira-service-desk as this is the official tag for JIRA Service Desk questions. Currently what you ask is not possible by default within JIRA Service Desk, however there's an addon that could offer you this functionality: Extension for JIRA Service Desk. The addon has more…

Hi Puneet, I've tagged this question with the JIRA tag as I'm pretty sure the question is about JIRA. Please do let me know if that's not the case. Now on to your question, what are you trying to do with these labels? Use them for filtering issues per team? Is everything within one project or are multiple teams working in…

I'm just curious, how many beers do you own? :o

If you read the page that you linked you can find the following explanation: * If you are using JIRA Agile in OnDemand, watchWhat's NewandAtlassian OnDemand Application Versionsfor the latest updates. Please note that releases of JIRA Agile "behind-the-firewall" (that is, JIRA Agile for installation on-premises at your…

In JIRA a Link can contain anything you like, a link to another place as well. In the wiki you can add links as well but if I understand it correct you'd like to have a link in Bitbucket to the Issue or Confluence page as well. Similar to the link between a JIRA issue and a Confluence page when you add an issue link to the…

That would indeed work perfectly fine but we don't use versions so that's not an option. :-( We might use versions in the future but atm I'm very happy we won the battle for JIRA ;-)

Hi Eva, Unfortunately the labels field does not support history searches So I'm afraid there is no out of the box way of getting the desired result. You could already start by filtering those issues that have the particular label assigned and which have not been updated since: labels = "Particular-Label" AND updated >=…

What browser are you using? Did you really let the page finish loading completely? Sometimes JIRA needs to rebuild some of the css and javascript files which may cause pages to load for a long time once. (up to 5 minutes).

It is in the list of users but the problem is all our issues are assigned to that user. I'll try to edit all issues that are currently assigned to this user.
-
As far as I know on OnDemand this is not possible. But you could create an Excel file and save it as CSV and import that file when creating a certain project. Hope this helps. Best, Maarten
-
Thanks for the answers. I hope something gets implemented in the future. Or the Script Runner should become available on OnDemand instances!
-
Oh right, OnDemand makes me forget about "older" versions and their missing functionalities! :-)

I was able to add the link functionality on the Create Screen by adding the field "Linked Issues" to the "Default Screen". However this will also add the Linked Issue field available on the edit issue screen etc. You can find the Configure Screen part through the Administration menu. Administration -> Screens -> find…

Hi Sankar, We've been looking into this issue our own. However we have 3 smaller instances (100+ users each). Atlassian has created a tutorial on their Confluence which is worth checking out: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ONDEMANDKB/How+to+Merge+Two+JIRA+OnDemand+Instances We didn't execute the merge yet and are…

Hi Shawn, You can set this in your workflow. The transition that moves the issue from a certain status back to Open you can add a Post Function named Clear Field. Configure it so the Assignee field is cleared and you should be good to go. Best, Maarten
-
First thing that comes to mind: did you configure the Closed status to be the last column in the status columns?
-
Hi Jay, I'm afraid this isn't possible in OnDemand. For the download version there's a plugin called Script Runner. And do stuff like: issueFunction in subtasksOf("project = XXX AND issuetype = Task AND status = Closed") But I'm afraid that isn't possible on the OnDemand version (yet). Best, Maarten

A Scrumboard only provides a view on a list of Issues (using an Issue Filter). The idea is that everyone should be able to create his/her own view on the progress. If I want to add my own Quick Filters or I'd rather have a different view while working in a sprint (other swimlanes, different details) or even when I'm…
-
I'm not sure but can you check the Boards configuration. Maybe in the part "Column" you will see that no statusses have been mapped to any columns. Not sure if that also influences the Plan mode of the scrumboard but you never know. Edit: I just did a test on our instance and it does influence what is shown on the Plan…

Hi Drew, It's possible that the filter which is used for your board filters out those issues. Can you show us a copy of the Board's filter? On the board click on the Board button, top right corner and choose for the option to Configure. By default it shows the General tab. If not, click General in the menu on the left.…

Hi Scott, I'm working at a company with 5800 employees (of which 1000+ already have a Confluence account). We've recently (2-3 months ago) enabled the "Create Space" functionality for anyone and we haven't received any complaints just yet. We don't see a spectacular increase in space creation BUT it did make our users a…

Hi Melvyn, Unfortunatly on OnDemand it's not possible to create your own Macro's. Please refer to the following page to find any other restrictions: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Restricted+Functions+in+Atlassian+OnDemand Best, Maarten
-
The idea behind Kanban is to be able to pickup the next issue whenever ready with the previous one. You usually don't estimate or plan tasks in a Kanban way. As far as I know there's no way to see the estimate (without opening the issue details).
-
Peter, Thanks for the quick response! I'd like to rephrase your last sentence: "To bad OnDemand doesn't support plugins from the Marketplace yet!" ;-) Best, Maarten
-
I'm afraid they will not agree to make our issue tracker public for viewing as it is an On Demand instance. I am able to login but as soon as I open any JIRA view I get this login window. I guess you need an account with JIRA License to be able to view issues in JIRA? Best, Maarten
-
Hi Hsu, As far as I know you can't create a list with all pages in a space including their comment/like count. However you can create several views with comments/like count for pages with a specific label. Take a look at the Content Report Table macro. Best, Maarten

Hi Karthik, I've never encountered that issue myself but I guess it has something to do with cache. Have you tried clearing your browser's cache? Best, Maarten
