Hi Marshall, It's currently not possible to edit the labels of a blueprint as far as I know. However someone from Atlassian already created an Improvement in the Atlassian JIRA about this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-29447 It also includes a possible explanation of why it's not a great idea to change the label…

Hi Ben, I'm afraid in OnDemand (at least as far as I know) this isn't possible. You could however add a Post Condition to one of your transitions to copy a field value from the parent but an Epic is not really a parent. Therefor that won't work. You could Bulk Update the fixVersions of the issues linked to a certain Epic…

Why not just use a Status for that? When an issue is created it gets the status "To Document" which can transition into "Open". Only show open issues in your development board and you're good to go. We actually do this since a few weeks and it starts to pay off. We keep track of all the work that still needs to be done…

Hi Liam, You'll have to change it in the related workflows. You can click on the workflow name of your choice and configure the screen of every transition in that workflow. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Working+in+text+mode#Workingintextmode-transitionviewUsingascreenwithatransition Best, Maarten

Hi Jim, The send Notification checkbox only related to the fact that the change of the Label(s) should trigger the normal notification flow of JIRA. Same flow as when you would edit other fields of the issue. So this notification is specific to the issue that's being labeled. If you want to get a notification for every…

Hi Liran, As the problem is most likely very specific to your instance (I assume you're using the self-hosted version) I think it would be best to contact Atlassian Support: http://support.atlassian.com Best, Maarten

What's the filter, JIRA uses when you click on "x Issues" in the Roadmap.
-
Hi Robert, Yes usually if you order an OnDemand JIRA Instance you can add Confluence to it and it'll use the same URL and login. However I'm not sure how to migrate these two on an OnDemand but I suggest you contact Atlassian Support to ask how you can resolve this. Maybe it is possible to link both the JIRA and Confluence…

Hi Yuanjie, Normally this is the case by default on OnDemand. Do you perhaps have 2 seperate OnDemand instances? One for JIRA and one for Confluence? Are the urls of both the same or different? Best, Maarten

No Answer has been found :-(

It's far from JSON ... JSON would be something like this: { rapidViewId: 1, state: "Closed", name: "NORD - Sprint 42", ...}

Hi Lucinda, If you open the issue, is the transition button available in the issue-menu? If not something is wrong with the Workflow, possibly a validation or condition is making it impossible to transition to In Progress. Could you maybe also share a screenshot of your workflow? You can create one when clicking on "View…

Unfortunately this isn't possible anymore on OnDemand. But Atlassian is working on a fix: * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/UNIFIED-20 * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/UNIFIED-12 Best, Maarten

Yes it works but only if your using Firefox or Internet Explorer (requirement for being able to edit Excels right from Confluence). And all excells need to be attached to the same document. In case you edit Excel 1 which is referenced in Excel 2 you'll have to open Excel 2 as well before the updated data will be taken into…

Hi Karthik, I think that's a bug, I haven't noticed it myself in OnDemand but I do have the same issue with the download version. I think I only started experiencing it when I switched the language of JIRA from English to Dutch. Is your JIRA still using the default language? I've briefly searched on the public JIRA of…

Hi Shivakumar, Their might be some required field that you need to fill in to complete the transition. More info in the JIRA documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Processing+JIRA+issues+with+commit+messages Best, Maarten

We do similar things in our Confluence and there a property on the JIRA Gadget to set the refresh interval. As far as I know at least new issues should be displayed. The macro we are using is the Filter Results macro. Try typing "{Filter" in you page and select the correct macro from the list.
-
Just use a JIRA issue filter gadget on the page just as you would do on a JIRA dashboard.

I would suggest you contact the support of Atlassian on http://support.Atlassian.com

I just checked and apparently our OnDemand "only" has 506 MB of RAM available so if you increase it to 1 GB you should be fine. And personally I don't think attachments would influence performance too much since it's not something that's being indexed and searchable. Just make sure you have enough disk space available (or…

Are you altking about an OnDemand instance or a locally installed instance? In case of the first one, we're currently using JIRA OnDemand for about a year. We have 12.000 issues with 5000 attachments and everything is still running as smooth as at the start. Please be aware of the 25 GB limit on Attachments on OnDemand. If…

The way we currently doing it is the following: We have a DEV Scrumboard with these columns: Our QA board is actually a Kanban board because in our case QA is working for different teams and issues might be tested during the DEV sprint as well as after the DEV sprint. Once the story/bug/improvement reaches our "custom"…

Hi Brian, You could use the 'Create from Template' macro to add a button to a certain page which allows you to configure the default title as you described: image2014-9-13 19:10:48.png Best, Maarten

Hi Sheila, I took a look at our Hosted instance and the Sprint field remains empty as well in our case. It appears to be a bug which was already reported by a few people in different circumstances. You can find them using the following…

I'm afraid there's no "out-of-the-box" way of adding an alt to the project avatar. Why do you want to do this?
-
If I'm not mistaken this is automatically handled by JIRA: As far as I can see, it starts as soon as there's 10 comments on a single issue. Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

Hi Chris, I guess, since your using a Custom HTML Macro, dropdowns are not supported in the Confluence Export to PDF. PDFs are generated with iText, a Java Library for creating PDF documents. Normally this library does have some support for forms. However depending on how Atlassian implemented the export, this will or…

I've never encountered it but you could contact Atlassian through their support site: http://support.Atlassian.com

Hi Thomas, What Timelines are you talking about? Best, Maarten
-
Hi Douglas, Summary You can't combine multiple sprints in a single burndown but you can put multiple projects in the same sprint which solves your issue. You can keep using the different boards and they'll only see the tasks that are the result of the filter behind that board. Longer Version The burndown chart only shows…
