Hi Maggie, Could you by any chance share a screenshot of your current Color Scheme so I can reproduce the issue and see if I can find a solution? Thanks, Maarten
-
Hi Kim, Guessing from the UI look, you're trying to create an issue in JIRA cloud? If yes, I'd suggest you get in touch with Atlassian Support. They should have access to more error details. Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

Hi Brian, I've just tested this on both a Cloud and two server versions and I can only reproduce this on Cloud so I'd guess this is a bug. I found CONFCLOUD-56932 on the public issue tracker of Atlassian. I'd suggest you vote and watch the issue to be able to receive updates on the issue. Best, Maarten

Hi Dave, It's has been a discussion for years. Many issues have been created in the public issue tracker of Atlassian. The one you should be looking at is CONFSERVER-34088. I'd suggest you vote and watch the issue to receive updates when they are provided. There are also some Marketplace apps available for this use case: *…

Hi Oliver, This seems to be a bug in the German translation: JRASERVER-66732. It's already resolved but not released yet. The bug also describes a workaround but if it's not too urgent I would wait until the bugfix-release is available. Best, Maarten

Hi Thomas, Sorry, I'm not very familiar with Slack, so I had never heard of Shared Channels :-) Apparently Shared Channels are stil in beta and there's a list of known issues. The list contains a known issue with outgoing webhooks which I would expect is what the JIRA bot uses to get notified when an issue is being…

Hi Thomas, If you're using the official JIRA Bot from Atlassian I'm pretty sure it should be working in Slack Group Channels. As you can see on the linked site, the example animations show group conversations. Have you followed the steps as shown in the animation under "Get started in seconds"? Best, Maarten

Hi Clinton, There's definitely a way to limit the kind of characters a user can put into the summary field. The solution might be different for Cloud compared to Server so I'd like to ask on which version you are working?! On the other hand I do have a thought whether it's a good idea to limit the possibilities for a user…

Hi Sai, I'm afraid that won't be possible out of the box. It could be fixed building an addon but even in that case I'm not sure (not a developer :-)). Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

Hi Mika, Assuming your on the Atlassian cloud, you have created two Atlassian IDs. You might have deleted #2 from your Atlassian products but it most likely still exists as an Atlassian ID. Try logging in with account #2 on https://id.atlassian.com and go to https://id.atlassian.com/manage/close-account. This should allow…

Hi Ilyes, The way we've set it up at De Persgroep is we have two main groups: * persgroep-users (containing all internal users) * external-users (containing all external users) In our Global Permissions we've added the group "persgroep-users" to the Developer and User project role. This way, all newly created projects will…

Hi Cierra, Good luck with the upgrade. There's obviously more new features included in the upgrade so it's definitely worth it. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Cierra, It should be enabled by default but only on JIRA 7.5 or above. Can you verify on the System Info page int he JIRA System Administration which version of JIRA you are running? Best, Maarten

Hi Edwin, The JSD Portal has a setting in the profile of the user to configure the language. It probably defaults to English. The auto-detect feature is not available in the portal: Hope this helps. Best, Maarten

Hi DC, I think what you're looking for is JIRA Service Desk. This allows you to quickly design a custom form with whatever fields you need. The telephone agent will be able to fill this form as if he was the person ordering. This way the person ordering can get the notifications that you configure him/her to receive about…

Hi, Could you share an example table of how you'd like it to look and be structured? It's not entirely clear to me what you are looking for. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Dave, If you put Page Restrictions on the pages that should be private, they won't be returned by the search on the portal (even if the label matches). So if you're tree structures is the following: * User Guides* User Guide A * User Guide B * ... * Team Policies* Team Policy A * Team Policy B * ... * Projects * ... You…

Hi John, I think, since you're using an external authenticator, you'll have to change the email address on the side of the authenticator (so in Azure for authentication). If you really want to be sure I think it'll be best to get in touch with support.atlassian.com. Please also get back with the response as this might be…

Hi @[deleted], I'm pretty sure that's an email send by JIRA Service Desk. You probably do have an account on https://spmdpdd.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/user/login?destination=portals You can login on the url above and see what issues you have access to. An account is automatically created if you send an email to an…

@Patricio Rivera Completely agree that value should always be thought of. But we have this "Bugs-first" guideline simply because a bug is a particular feature (which was previously agreed on it had value) which isn't working as intended, thus the value (as previously agreed) is not being delivered. That's why we…

Hi @[deleted], Can you give me an example of that type of notifications? JIRA has several channels from which emails could be sent: * Default JIRA Notifications * JIRA Service Desk Notifications * Addons * ... Best, Maarten

Hi Erdem, Unfortunately not. Trello has been built to keep it very very simple at first and "hide" the more complex stuff behind a click of a button. Best, Maartebn

Hi Tanya, Unfortunately there's not an easy way to filter on any update but you could filter on issues of which the status was changed by someone: status CHANGED DURING (startOfWeek(-1d), startOfWeek()) BY fonteynf There's many (but not all) other fields for which you can use the same filter. Simply replace the "status"…

Hi Ofira, We do have teams in a similar situation. Some even have applications that are 5 years or older. Our agile coaches have drawn the following diagram which should help you identify the bugs that you don't want to fix or maybe want to fix as an improvement instead (which you do estimate): Apart from that you can try…

Hi Ofire, At De Persgroep, where I work, we tend to apply a Bugs-first-policy. This means that, once a bug is found/reported, we'll pick it up once we finish with our current work. Why? * Nobody gets happy about bugs * Once they get found, the code/implementation usually is still fresh in our mind, thus taking us less…

Hi Kristina, Atlassian has recently redesigned Confluence and has switched from a horizontal nav-bar to a vertical one. I'm afraid you won't be able to easily switch between horizontal and vertical nav-bar/headers. Can you share the url of where you took the screenshot you posted? Best, Maarten
-
Hi Timo, I'm afraid no id/class/... is added when an Anonymous user opens your Confluence site. You can suggest this feature via jira.atlassian.com if you'd like. Best, Maarten
-
Hi Marcel, As with every big change, some features are not available from the start. Atlassian is continuously working on the new design and is adding new/existing features every week. For now, configuring the colour scheme is very basic but I would expect more possibilities to be added back again later. If you want to…

Hi Izzuddin, I've found this older question: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Mail-handler-for-Exchange-Online-office365-mailbox-ADFS/qaq-p/169202 It's using IMAP over port 993 to connect JIRA to an Office365 mailbox. Hope this helps. Best, Maarten
