If you also use Rovo, you can alternatively use a Rovo agent to summarize it, I just didn't have a test environment to try it out.

If it's only about work item creation, then you can simply use Confluence Automation for this. 😁 Confluence has a trigger for when a Work Item has been created, unfortunately not for edits. But you could build an automation like this: Not exactly what you're looking for, but maybe close enough? PS: I guess, @Matt Doar…

Looking forward to London - and interacting with all of you!

Hey @Olivier Wehrli there are lots of people facing challenges with multiple Jira instances. My main question to start it off would be: What information do you want to share? * Does everyone have access to the other instances and you simply want to express dependencies between them? Then you might want to look into…

What a story, @Kristian Klima. I especially like the your newspaper beginning - I've never thought of newspapers working agile, but you're so right. They need to be very agile because its obviously in the nature of their business. I'm glad to have you around in the Atlassian ecosystems and share your knowledge and…

As an alternative to deleting all attachments, you could correlate which attachment on the sender side matches the attachment on the receiver side (if any). That's basically what we're doing in our app. We have a mapping between the attachment ids on both ends. If no mapping exists, we need to create a new one. If one…

To be honest, I haven't found a good way how to properly deal with attachments in Automation. How does you automation rule look when you're uploading the attachment? It could still work if you add a public comment which includes the attachment after you've added the attachment to the work item.
-
Oh yes, attachments visibility in combination with JSM is not really nice. Only attachments which get mentioned in a public comment are treated as "public attachments". Unfortunately, there's no better way for that. In our syncing app, Backbone Work Sync, we needed to deal with the same problems and decided to create…
-
Hey @Marko Brisevac, welcome to the Atlassian Community. Can you share some more details how you're synchronizing attachments using Automation? Then we might be able to help you more. Cheers, Matthias.

Hey @정민웅 welcome to the Atlassian Community. This is a place where you can exchange with fellow Atlassian users (like me). It seems you can apply for a discount either using * Atlassian's Community License program for non-profits or * Atlassian's Classroom License program for students and teachers The discount is both…

Dear @serge calderara I'm part of the team behind Backbone Work Sync and I'd be happy to have a look at the issue you are facing with Exalate - and how our app might help you in these challenges. One of the main differences between Exalate and our app is that we're focussing on a no-code integration solution and try to…
-
@Emma Schnee, I really liked how you showed a specific use case and how you actually use the tools - and not only demonstrate some features. I can relate to the way you've showed it a lot.
-
Hey @Daniel Schillig I'm part of the team behind Backbone Work Sync and happy to think about solutions to your use case. If I understand it correctly, you're searching for a way to scan all attachments which are synchronized from the external provider. Did you already make progress with @Albert Manuel's solution approach?…
-
@Moritz Tenorth, following up on @Nikola Perisic's comment. It might be a solution to synchronize some issues for planning into one instance, e.g. all Epics. That way you can do all the planning in one Jira instance and keep working/executing on them in the other ones. PS: I'm part of the team behind Backbone Work Sync…

Great answers, @Mayura Gautham I have one doubt about your licensing question though. Based on my understanding and this documentation, you don't need a separate license for each instance. You pay one price for each user in your Enterprise plan and you can then administer to allow them to access all your instances or only…

Hey @Michael Weinraub my colleagues have built comprehensive resources around best practices in Confluence. I'd recommend to check them out. Since you've asked specifically for labels or better searchability, this (free) course might be best suited for it. If you're more the video person, you can check out this video or…
-
Hey @Jana Winkelbauer welcome to the Atlassian Community. That sounds to me like a behavior which is possibly a bug. I'd recommend you open an ECOHELP ticket to trigger technical investigations by Atlassian. Cheers, Matthias.
-
As @Michael Wohlgemuth already said, you should be using as a base url the url of your instance, e.g. https://your-domain.atlassian.net. You can also check out the details of this REST API method in the docs. Please keep in mind that the endpoint you want to use is deprecated and will only work until June and you should…

Hey everyone, we had an insightful session with @Phill Fox yesterday. He showed how JPD can be used to map the Mission Relevancy with Effort and easily visualize it with JPD so that it's easier to prioritise the work. In addition, he showed how mapping insights from any weblink to the relevant JPD tickets can help in…

Hey @Kent Chiu here's Matthias from K15t. Do you have a reproducable test case how our app breaks the formatting. It would be great if you submit a bug report via our support. While we don't commit to SLAs for our Labs account, we still support these apps on a best-effort basis. If we know the details of your use case, we…

Ah, you're right @Rune Rasmussen It doesn't really work the way you described. You can achieve the lookup of values like this. Let's assume, you have two tables ID Table and Office Table: Then you can configure an aggregated table which looks like this: The drawback here is that every table from which you want to look up…
-
Hey @Rune Rasmussen have a look at the documentation about the "Entry" fields. It looks like you want to use an Entry Details field which can show values from other databases. Cheers, Matthias.
-
Not really, but if you use the banner solution I've mentioned the post before, you could possibly filter for that url client-side and show some note or maybe even redirect from the client-side.

Hi @Kriti Kashyap welcome to the Atlassian Community. when you want to report on data from 2 different Jira instances, you basically have two options: * Sync all the data into one Jira instance and report there using the standard reports or your preferred reporting app. If you want to go that way, I'd recommend searching…
-
Hey @Satish Kumar welcome to the community also from my side. I agree with @Vinubabu _Vinu_ that your approach is definitely an approach many people are using - there are some variations of it. As Vinubabu's linked documentation points out, you can add everyone who has a standard Jira license as collaborators directly to…

🤔 - I've written an article how to add a project-based banner on Jira Data Center a while ago. If you're up for some Javascript hacking, you can take the same idea from that article and modify it to your needs. Instead of showing a banner for certain projects, you need to find a condition from the 404 error page and then…

An app like Elements Connect might help you. Such apps enable you to show data from SQL Databases, REST APIs, or similar, as custom fields inside Jira. I've used that app ages ago but back then it worked perfectly for loading data from REST APIs on Jira DC. If you're looking for a Scriptrunner solution, you might want to…
-
Hi @Suvarna unfortunately, this is not possible out of the box. Atlassian also closed the corresponding feature request as won't do. If you really want to have that, you should check out some marketplace apps to see if they're able to fulfill your use case. All the best, Matthias.
-
Hi @lei I believe that's not something which can be achieved easily. Here's an old feature request asking for a possibility to customize that page. However, it didn't get much traction and I doubt that Atlassian will really work on that. Here's also an article which explains a bit how to customize the 404 error page for…

Hey @Gurinder Summan I haven't worked with Scriptrunner to make a REST endpoint, but here are the docs in case you're searching for something specific. If you describe what you want to achieve, the community might be able to guide you so that you achieve your goal. Cheers, Matthias.
