Thank you for sharing JRACLOUD-100026, @Dhruv Mittal. I share the same sentiment as @Dwight Holman. I always want to see the full description of the work item (by default) - at least when I'm watching it in the browse view (*.atlassian.net/jira/browse/KEY-123). Ideally, Jira remembers that I want expanded descriptions by…

Thank you for the update, @Monique vdB! I'm grateful to hear that you're working on the new search alerts feature. Happy to help if you need any early feedback there.
-
Thank you for pointing me to the ideas. I've just posted my comment there:
-
In the old forums, we had the "search alerts" feature which I used heavily to track certain keywords across the whole community. IIRC, it was shared that the first version of the new community won't have this functionality. Are there any more concrete plans to bring it back?

Hey @Paul Marinas - Ticketize_it, welcome to the Atlassian Community - and congrats on publishing your first app in the marketplace. I'm part of the team behind Backbone Work Sync, that's why this thread has been on my radar. Since this seems to be one of your first posts in the community, I'd like to ask you to check out…

Hello @Candelario Adding to @Trudy P Claspill's questions: * Are you interested in syncing attachments & comments? * How about third party app data? * Are you synchronizing within the same Jira instance or across different ones? To me, it sounded like you're inside one Jira - and I think, you can either go for free or easy…
-
, I'd recommend it similar to If you want to go down the multiple projects route and also want to include comments and attachments, I'd recommend using an actual syncing tool since there are still quite some limitations with attachments - and you need to maintain your own rulesets of automations. But it's also fair to call…

Thank you to our Jira admins who are always up for quick help - often on the same day. I appreciate your quick understanding and nature of getting things done.

@Teodora V _Warsaw Dynamics_ - what a journey. I remember talking to you while you were still working for Botron years ago, and you're definitely one of the "community faces" for me. Congrats - and a big thank you for all your contributions!
-
Hey @James Hamm welcome to the Atlassian Community. I'm Matthias from the team behind Backbone Work Sync and can comment from the other angle from what @Anton from JetHeads_io wrote. I'd also recommend the same base setup: * Jira↔Jira mirroring/sync - either via Automation or a specialized syncing app * Jira/Time Tracking…

Interesting article, I'll have a closer look into it. We do have Google Workspace for some accounts in place, but most of our users are joining with their private mail addresses (which I assume doesn't make it easier).

We do qualify for the 100% discount, but that's limited to 25 users only unfortunately. Beyond that, we still get a generous 75% discount, but that's still a lot of money with our occasional usage. Yes, it might actually be worth it to check the apps out - maybe I could also get a discount from them.. :) What I'm trusting…

I was also able to renew my DC Community Licenses. I've clicked on the renew link in the banner message which was shown to me. This led me to my.atlassian.com where I was able to self-serve the renewal with a $0 price for Confluence and the involved apps.
-
Thank you, @Ingo Schalk-Schupp - I appreciate that a lot.

Thank you for the explanation @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_. In various documentations, e.g. the Jira scopes, Atlassian recommends: When choosing your scopes, the recommendation is to use classic scopes. That's also my experience and recommendation. If possible, use classic scopes. If some endpoints require explicitly a…
-
Hey @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_, thanks again for your detailed breakdown. You wrote: Don’t mix granular with classic token scopes Can you elaborate why you recommend that? From my app development perspective, there's no actual drawback in using classic scopes to cover the basic scope need and add granular scopes as needed.…
-
Oh no - @Ingo Schalk-Schupp, I also need to renew my licenses soon. I guess, I'll go ahead and try that some time soon as well. Please share it here in case you've found a solution to that.
-
I'd like to also express my voice here to bring back the detail view! Our use case is that we're using that view when we do our Backlog refinement. In that session, we want to go through a list of work items, but prefer to have most of the screen available to view the current work item, discuss about it, add comments, fill…

There are many rememberable Atlassian events which I've attended, but I also still like most Atlassian Community Events where some strangers meet - and suddenly start talking with each other like they know each other for ages. I've experienced that myself in many different cities. One ACE which was really fun was one in…

In order to make it simple to switch a repo to the new host, I've created this little shell command for me: old=$(git remote get-url origin) && \new=$(printf '%s\n' "$old" | sed -E 's#(^|@|//)bitbucket\.org([:/])#\1ssh.bitbucket.org\2#') && \echo "old: $old" && echo "new: $new" && \git remote set-url origin "$new" && git…

I have the same problem - please share the solution afterwards here!

@Jovana Dunisijevic - I've just upgraded ACLI again which now uses 1.3.18-stable. According to acli rovodev --version, I'm using Rovo Dev CLI version 202604.11.1 which should be newer than your mentioned version. I also do have python installed. Please let me know further troubleshooting steps.
-
Hey @Jovana Dunisijevic nice work. My first impression is quite positive about it. I'm also quite keen to test the voice input, I've just installed an external tool this week. I've upgraded ACLI and also RovoDev downloaded the new version, but my RovoDev does not know the /voice install command. Is there still some feature…

To answer the part "how will it find the linked card on Space B": When you create a card in your Action 1, I would also add a work item link between these issues with a specific link type like "created by". Whenever a card is updated (Action 2), you can then add a branch component Branch rule / related work items and…

Thank you for sharing the guide, @Tom Pieterse. I've just tried accessing it and realized that I need to ask for permission to view it. Is this intended?

Thank you, @Tinker Fadoua

Welcome back @Andy _ Fun Inc. I'm looking forward to hearing your stories of your crash course and beyond.

Looking forward to some great AI insights.

Nice story - and thank you for the pointer to the Chrome DevTools MCP. Here's an mcp project for ordering pizza via Domino's - sounds like the perfect Atlassian use case since they're featuring Domino's every now and then. @Bernandina Ortiz & @Alex Ortiz - unfortunately I won't be in Anaheim this year, but I want to hear…
