I haven't been to many social impact events lately, but last year I've been attending basecamp23 organized by the YMCA Germany. This event was a good opportunity to get out of my own bubble where we're often busy in organizing many events and activities - and often not take enough time to think visionary and strategically.…

@Adrian Smith, as I've shared in the other thread: I've also recently renewed our Confluence DC license along with several marketplace apps. It was like asking for a new license via the same link. The extension worked fine for Confluence and the apps - no problem at all.

Ah, @Dan Ny - I think I misunderstood you in the beginning. You only want to get rid of the hyperlink of the issue key, right? Unfortunately, I also don't know of a way how this is possible, here's the corresponding Atlassian feature request. I'm sorry, I don't have better news.

Thank you for the further explanations. This is indeed weird. I have some questions for you to guide you in your troubleshooting: * Does the changelog of the issue record your change to the manually entered value? * Is there another changelog which changes the value right after? * If you set your value manually and it got…

Thank you for sharing the details. Have you checked if the data in the resulting JSON is correct and contains the correct issue key in the External issue ID field? Are you using the "Edit an issue from a JSON representation" method from the REST API for your import? My suspicion would be that your script screws something…

Hi @Prasoon Rajpoot welcome to the Atlassian Community. You can lookup the various ways how text is formatted in Jira in this document. The _ and + only seem to be formatting characters for making the text emphasis or inserted (as they call it). Hope that helps, Matthias.

Hey @Dan Ny to me this sounds like a problem with the way how you import the issues into your Jira. Can you share a bit more how you're importing them? Another solution for your scenario would be to use an issue sync app. These apps enable you to synchronize data automatically between different Jira instances and you can…

That sounds like a great offer, @Genevieve Abbey How about sharing some insights also online here afterwards so that people from other parts of the world get something out of it too?

Oh, I think my most loved ones are: * sorting tables. This is really handy as long as there's no Confluence Databases for DC (any plans to support these?) * resize images. Dealing with images never felt easy to me, that resize handle will be helpful. * word/character count. This is really handy if you're working on e.g.…

You can search for other issues via JQL like this example states and then update the field inside the each loop. Issues.search('project = SR and reporter = currentUser()').each { issue -> // do something with `issue` } In your case, you could use a JQL like issuekey = ABC-123

I'm afraid I can't help much here then. :/ You can check out Atlassian's docs how to get help for building Forge apps. This also recommends asking your question in the developer community. Maybe you have more luck over there.

Hey @Margaret Prothero welcome to the Atlassian Community where users help other users. I've never worked with Canvas courses, but I believe you've followed this guide for embedding a board. Did you also add the part with the <script> tag? <script src="https://p.trellocdn.com/embed.min.js"></script> This adds some…

Hey @Aaron Mudford welcome to the Atlassian Community. Have you seen these articles about changing the admins of a workspace? * https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/changing-the-admins-of-a-workspace-or-board/ * https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/why-support-cant-grant-access-to-your-account/ The most promising…

Hey @Rahul have you checked out the Adaptavist Library? This example seems to be quite close to what you want to achieve. I'm including it here in case the link gets broken in the future. I'd recommend reading it in their library because that's nicer formatted. import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import…

こんにちわ @Justin _ ヨンス welcome to the Atlassian Community. I'd like to double-check on the REST API you're trying to access. Is it the Get Incident API as described here? Or do you intend to get the details of JSM Requests as described here? I don't have experience with the Incidents API. If OAuth is not working with these…

Hey @Claire Yusko I'm not using Bitbucket DC, but would love to see a feature highlight video for Confluence DC next. Cheers, Matthias.

Hey @Rajat Samseriya this is a simple: yes, that's fully supported. Cheers, Matthias

@Mitch Turner I understood that the suggested solution is not fitting to you and you rather want to have a solution for issue links. If you scroll further down the list of Type of related issues, you will also find Linked Issues where you can also filter for the Link types. In this branch, you can then again perform any…
-
Hey @Mitch Turner welcome to the Atlassian Community. Can you please add some more details, e.g. a screenshot with the relevant sections how you've configured that so far? I'd go ahead and select the Branch rule / related issues action and select Parent as type of related issues. If you perform actions below that branch,…

If you want to link the issues, you should do another web request to link them. Since this is across Jira instances, you should use the remotelink API for it as documented here. Please note that you need an application link between the instances for that to work. PS: If you want to go further and also keep the issues in…

I'm glad to hear that, @antonya! If you accept this answer (the green button on top of this thread), you're also helping other people with the same problem to quickly see what worked in your case.

Thank you for clarifying that. Please download the "-85to912" version and install it in your Jira instance. It's needed for the "behind the firewall" scenario. Background Backbone uses for a "behind the firewall" scenario an encryption library for securing the messages which are being sent to the other Jira instance via…

Hey @Annice Yeo welcome to the Atlassian Community. It might help to reset the local data as instructed in this troubleshooting article. Cheers, Matthias.

Hey @André Felipe Rodrigues Lopes if you only want to create the issue in the other instance, I'd also recommend using a Jira automation with a web request. With the web request, you need to call the create issue endpoint of the other instance. Here are some simple details you can use: * Web request URL:…

Hi @Bek Zerbe welcome to the Atlassian Community. I've never used the Windows App before so can't help you with first-hand experience, but I've found this help article about troubleshooting the app which lists these three steps to try: * Restart the device * Reset local data * Reinstall the app All the best for fixing the…

Hi @Géczi Balázs welcome to the Atlassian Community. To remove members from Trello, check out this docs page. It mentions: To remove a member from a Workspace, go to the Workspace Collaborators page, and select "Remove..." to the right of their avatar. This member will also receive a notification that they were removed…

Hey @antonya this sounds like you're possibly still using the wrong artifact. Could you please verify that you're using the version with the suffix "-85to912"? On our version history page, you can see which files you need to use for which Jira version. Ideally, Atlassian's plugin manager should guide you to the correct…

Hi @antonya welcome to the Atlassian Community. And also thank you for trying out our app, Backbone Issue Sync. I'm part of the team behind the app. Reading your error message, please make sure that you're using the correct version of Backbone fitting to your Jira version, see also our documentation for that. If this error…

Hey @Yousef Abusamak thank you for your update here. I like the look and feel of the new command palette - and think it is a good evolution of the old menu. I landed here because I tried to open with the shortcut "gg" an action for an app in the global administration section. Can you please clarify if the "gg" menu will be…
