If you need such a solution, you may want to consider an issue sync app which can sync all required issues into one instance and connect your Jira Align to that.

The usage for a Data Center instance is a bit different. You find more details about PATs for DC in this documentation. The main difference is that you need to pass the token as a bearer token. Here's a quote from the docs: To use a personal access token for authentication, you have to pass it as a bearer token in the…

@Jason Hunter - that's because it's a Data Center instance, try it with the version 2 API: https://jira.eg.dk/rest/api/2/serverInfo

You're totally right @Bill Sheboy 🎉

On the other hand, if you want to rethink your process, you might want to have a look into Advanced Roadmaps which visualizes dependencies and progress better.

Hi @Katie McClure welcome to Atlassian's community. I'm not exactly sure what you mean with "summary reporting", but I thought you can add a Jira Automation which may look like this: * When: Issue Commented * (If: Maybe you want to check that only comments matching a certain pattern are considered) * Then: Add the content…

Hey @Dion Nijssen welcome to the Atlassian Community. I can understand your confusion, I also get worklogs earlier than my since parameter value - and was unable to figure out the reason. Does someone else have a solution/hint to this? If this call worked, you could actually get the value of multiple worklogs via this POST…

@Akshithrekulapelli - I replied on your other question to have the discussion in a separate thread.

Hi @Akshithrekulapelli if you want to do so, please make sure that you have an application link established between both Jiras. If you have that, I actually wonder about your requirement - why don't you simply create the issue link via the UI instead of manually typing a Jira issue key? Let's assume you have a good reason…

If you want to do it without an app, I'd look into Automation with Web triggers and web requests. The basic idea is: * When an issue is created in Jira A* send a web request to a webtrigger of Jira B * When the webtrigger in Jira B is called* create a new issue Jira B * set a custom field to the issue key of Jira A (to…

Hi @anja.buckley I'm part of the team behind Backbone Issue Sync - and therefore have some experience in these topics. It's not possible to sync data with the Application Tunnels. Application tunnels are a secure way how you can establish an application link between Atlassian products. With an application link, you can…

I have to admit, I don't have a clever solution to these requirements. I think, I'd go the other way and let people take up their requests, so they can assign tickets to themselves when they're done with one. This way, the load between the agents should be balanced based on how much effort a ticket requires.

Hi @Carolina SILVA if you talk about linking 1 project, do you mean you want to synchronize the changes between both Jiras? If that's the case, I'd also recommend Jack's advice to install an issue sync app. With such an app, you can define various rules which projects or issues within a project you'd like to synchronize.…

You need a license for both instances for our add-on as well for all the others AFAIK. If you're really asking about installation, Backbone offers remote licensing where you only need to install Backbone on the Server side and wouldn't need an installation on the Cloud side. However, this wouldn't save you money - but…

Thank you @Divya Sriram for being pro-active in this group. I really appreciate the communication effort.

Hi @Rahul as @Hauke Bruno Wollentin mentioned there are apps which were developed for exactly this purpose. I'd recommend to search for issue sync apps on Atlassian's Marketplace. I'm part of the team behind Backbone Issue Sync. If you want to try out our app, you can find a small getting started guide in our…

Hi @Steve Tedeschi the problem is that the Target End Date is no real date field from Jira's perspective. You first need to parse the value to a date and then you're able to add the business days. Here's my example for a logging statement: due date = {{issue.Target end}}, plus business days = {{issue.Target…

Hi @박성민(학해) it's up to you how you want to create an Automation rule. Do you have concrete criteria how you would like to distribute them? Some examples might be: * all issues with a certain component, e.g. UI to person A * all issues with a certain label to person B * all issues with a certain label and custom field set…

Hello @Slifer there is indeed no + operator in JQL. So depending on the exact nature of the question, you should probably tell that this JQL is invalid or it's indeed a typo. Cheers, Matthias.

Hi @Akshay Pal can you please describe how you're downloading the dump data? Then we're better able to help. Cheers, Matthias.
-
Hi @Kees Bloemendaal you only need to upgrade to a Standard license to use roles and permissions. If you want to grant this user access to your Jira, you need a subscription for that user. These subscriptions are always based on the products you want to access. Cheers, Matthias.
-
Hi @Donghua SHEN, as the two others said, you can accomplish this with an Automation. If you want to use Automation for it, I'd recommend to add e.g. an issue link from the source issue to the target issue, so that you always know which issue should be updated later. Of course, instead of an issue link, you could also save…

Hi @Yujie Xie I'm Matthias from the Backbone team. The tags and info on the right hand side show your using Jira Cloud. May I ask you if both projects you'd like to sync are on Jira Cloud? If this is the case, Backbone is using a user which is automatically created when you install the app (and which is not counting…

Hey @Khuram Khalil yes, you can simply have the 90% as JSM customers instead of usual JIra/JSM users. This way you don't have to pay for the 90% but only for the 10%. You can find more information about JSM customers in the JSM documentation. Hope that helps, Matthias.

Hey @Andy Baeck welcome to the Atlassian Community. If you say you want to populate a Jira Form, do you mean you essentially want to create an issue? If that's the case, maybe you can use Jira's REST API to create issues. Here's the documentation. Cheers, Matthias.

Hi @subhash mungara this article lists an overview of various methods how to copy a project including its configuration to another instance: * Perform a cloud-to-cloud migration * Use the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant via Jira Data Center * Merge sites in Jira Data Center and import into Jira Cloud manually I'd recommend…

We, as K15t develop Backbone and our professional services developed the Xray plugin for Backbone. Last year, Scandio acquired our professional services team and with it the Xray plugin for Backbone. You can write an email to sales@scandio.de. They should be able to tell you more.

Hi @Riley Sullivan great to hear your feedback and interest into Backbone Issue Sync. I'm part of the team behind Backbone Issue Sync. I'm not aware of any discussions between K15t and Atlassian about integrating Backbone into Jira. And I think the main reason is that Databases is actually a feature every Confluence user…

Hi @ESTERBEN Backbone allows the synchronization of any issues but no native support for Xray or Zephyr tests so far. However, in combination with our friends at Scandio we've implemented an extension to Backbone which offers (limited) support for Xray tests. This is based on Backbone's official Java Extension API to…
