Yep, you can use {cardname} to reference the name of the card in the email. Here's a reference of variables you can use in your commands: https://help.trello.com/article/1157-variables

My CSV exports definitely don't contain the "dueComplete" field for cards. Yes, they do contain custom fields.
-
I just found the change that made this happen - we definitely changed this, as part of a fix. Previously, the current behavior (which is correct, based on the markdown spec), was only applied to comments. The fix that was sent out yesterday, meant that this is now also the case for descriptions, which is why your existing…

Hey @Dave Manoa - that's odd - could you raise a support ticket at trello.com/contact and just reference this thread? Will mean we can take a look at your boards in some more detail (with your permission) to figure out what's going on.

I can't immediately see any change to our markdown implementation in a while. The example you posted renders correctly, because the dashes underneath a line signify a "Heading 2" in markdown. If you want the horizontal rule, you'll need to break up the lines with newlines, like: **Test:** Test --- **Line 1** Test ---…

Thanks @Tom Grant and @Dave Manoa - gonna look into this

-
Hey @Tom Grant - what specifically is not working for you?
-
The CSV board export doesn't include all the card fields - you'll need to use the JSON export (which does) instead.
-
The member in your screenshot was added to workspace, so they are not a "guest", they're a full workspace member, and are billable as such. If you just remove them from the workspace (not the board), they will be a single board guest, and no longer billable.
-
This might help: https://help.trello.com/article/1249-dashboard-view There's also a bunch of Power Ups like Blue Cat Reports and others, if you need something with more options.
-
The only time Trello will auto-close boards, is if you downgrade from Business Class to Free. In that case, Trello will close all but 10 of your boards (the open board limit for Free users is 10).
-
@Artur Keshishyan check out Inviting people to a Workspace. You probably want a workspace for your team, and invite each member to that workspace.
-
@John Agius no, these limits can't be relaxed, not even for premium accounts, as they are in place to protect the user experience, and Trello's infrastructure. Currently you can have 500 open lists per board, with 5000 open cards per board. If you have a significantly larger dataset, that can't be categorized into multiple…

No, don't do this. Trello assumes one account per person, sharing an account like this could lead to problems for your team members. They could be sporadically logged out, for example. Another issue with this is that there's no traceability for your team member's actions inside Trello if you all use the same account.
-
There are per-board limits in place to prevent abuse, and to keep boards performant. As you posted, currently the limit for open cards per list is 5000, and the limit of total cards per list is 1 Million. If you're approaching those numbers, it's likely you might want to look at…

Hey @赵福志 here's a link to the custom fields Power Up: https://trello.com/power-ups/56d5e249a98895a9797bebb9/custom-fields If you use Trello in another language, the Power Up's name is probably translated into that language. Felix
-
Hey @Sophie currently, no. There's no way to disable the link previews. Felix
-
Hey, sorry I missed this - there's no way to disable this feature. You can work around it by wrapping the url in backticks (`) to make it a code element, if you need to be able to see the full URL.
-
The due date shown on the card shows up as the time in the timezone the computer/device is set to. If you're seeing different due dates for different computers, they're probably set to different time zones.
-
You don't need to watch a card to be notified for mentions, so that might be an option. We're definitely looking at improvements we can make to notifications, so this a valuable data point for us! For what it's worth, we've got the feature I think you want (granular notification settings) on our mobile apps, just not for…
-
You're probably watching the card or the board or the list, when you don't need to be. See https://help.trello.com/article/799-watching-cards-lists-and-boards
-
With the settings you described, other users should be able to see the button. Reach out to Trello Support at https://trello.com/contact - they'll be able to help you debug why it's not working for you.
-
Hey Christian, you can still copy the URL by right clicking the link and selecting "Copy Link". Alternatively, if the link is in the description, you can just click the description, to go into "edit mode" and the link will be shown in plain text. There's no way to disable the link unfurling currently. You can wrap the link…
-
Cool, thanks! There's a bunch of info on Link cards here, if you're interested: https://help.trello.com/article/1256-link-cards Note that you _can_ also automate wrapping links in descriptions in backticks with Butler, if you're dedicated enough
-
Oh, so I'd assumed that the links were "Link cards" - is that not the case? Are the links in the card description/comments? If so, you can wrap them in backticks (`) to have them render as "code", which prevents Trello from unfurling (showing the preview).
-
There's a workaround to auto-convert cards from "Link cards" to "Regular cards": add a Butler rule to your board that adds, then removes a label (or a member) to/from the card. This works, because Link cards can't have labels, members or descriptions. No promises this will continue to work, but should work for now (we're…

Hmm so I've tried the first (longest checklist name) version of the command, and it definitely works for me. I did find an easy to miss way to break this though: If you're typing the checklist name, and you accidentally add an extra space at the end of it, it's not trimmed off, and the checklist name will no longer match…
-
Hey @ttodd , I just tried setting up a rule like you suggested, and it definitely works for me, even with the longest of checklist titles. Could you post the whole command?
-
Hey @Chris Lam Thank you for reporting this! There was a change that a Trello team was testing that messed up formatting for trello.com URLs :( It's turned off now, so everything should be working again, as normal! Sorry about that! Felix
