You can still do a wildcard filter by pressing "f", then "*", which will show you all the cards on the board, and the number of cards per list at the top. You're right that the filter indicator number changed from "all cards in the list" to "the number of cards matching the filter" - this was a big point of confusion for…

See https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/using-the-jira-and-slack-integrations/#Slack-actions-in-Automation You will need to use the slack ID of the person you are trying to DM. I don't think @-mentions are supported as of right now.

Hey @Matt Handley welcome! You can definitely do this using the Trello Rule Automations. The rule would be: when a card is added to the board, add member @{username} to the card See https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/butler-variables/ for more information on using variables in your rules. Note that the variables are…

Yes. Lots of cards/attachments/checklists/custom fields all affect the board performance in the client. Archiving lists or cards can help keep your board snappy. I wrote about automating board cleanup a while back here:…

In the Automation UI, on the automation that's sending you notifications, click the lightbulb (automation log) button. At the top there's a section called "Manage automation notifications" with a checkbox for "Display errors for missing items in notification tray". Disabling that checkbox may stop the error emails you are…

The calendar view scrolls, any chance you can scroll up/down to reveal the missing week?

No, Trello is Cloud only.

Collapsing lists is not a Trello feature, it must be coming from a browser extension. The Trello team does not test or support third party browser extensions when making changes to the application. It's likely the latest look and feel changes introduced this behavior. You'll have to reach out to the developer of the…

Hey @Alexis answering your questions first: * There's no power-ups, other than List Limits, that can color the list, currently. It's also not something that's exposed to power-ups, so the only third party way to do this, as far as I'm aware is with a browser extension. * The Trello team's been exploring list colors for a…

Trello doesn't provide a way to anonymize user data for un-deleted users, on selected boards, as far as I'm aware.
-
Sounds like you want Trello's Custom Fields feature. It allows you to create drop-down options. Alternatively, if the use-case you have is purely time/effort estimation, you might want to see if any of the Power-Ups available cover your use-case.
-
Deleting your ex-employees accounts will do this. All the content they created will still remain intact, so long as it was 'shared' content (i.e. they were not the only member of the board). See https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/deleting-your-trello-account/ and https://trello.com/trust

Hey @Brian Shaw - there's a couple of ways you can move the card without using drag and drop, depending on whether it's a new, or existing card. If it's an existing card, you can right click it, click on "Move" and change the position in the list there. If it's a new card, you can double click the position in the list…

Assigning check items is part of the "Advanced Checklists" feature, and is only available in paid plans of Trello - see https://trello.com/pricing
-
Curious: Why do you want to do this? To my knowledge, this isn't possible without using automation. You could create a Butler rule that adds the card ID to the card name: when a card is added to the board, rename the card to "{cardid} {cardname}"

You can drag and drop sort your starred boards in the "Starred" menu in the top header of the app. That sort order is also reflected on the page you shared a screenshot of. I'm pretty sure you used to be able to drag and drop sort the boards on that page too, but not sure why that doesn't work anymore. I'll ask the team…

Hey @Kimber Wallace - not sure who the audience is and what the detailed needs are, but you might want to check out https://www.atlassian.com/software/atlas - depending on your needs, the Free tier may work for you. You can create links to Atlas projects in your Trello boards as a link card (just paste the link as the name…

Yes, the data is not deleted on downgrade and will become visible again on upgrade.
-
The API will not let you access other members' email address, only your own. This is by design.
-
The email address contains an unguessable secret, that ensures that whoever is sending emails to create cards on the Trello board, actually got the email address from Trello (and didn't just try it out). It's not possible in Trello to change the email address, but there's ways you can set up custom emails, usually via…

The "flags" in the bottom left corner auto-dismiss after 10 seconds. Currently there's no way to disable them. It's a new feature that shows up when doing actions via keyboard shortcuts.

Yes this is intentional. The title of a document is privileged information, and can only be accessed by users with permission to view it.

Looks like you have your browser's zoom setting turned all the way up :) Either click the little magnifying glass in the address bar, or hold down the Control key and hit Minus (-) a few times, to zoom back out.

Hey @Brinsley Blackwood that's a strange one, for sure! Given the Windows app works, but the browser doesn't, I wonder if some browser extensions might be messing with Trello? Have you tried a different browser, or using an incognito/private tab (which usually won't run the browser extensions)?
-
It's not possible to force a line break on the card title. You might want to check out custom fields, which would let you put the case number into a dedicated field, and show that on the card front.
-
It's a hard limit, there's no way around it. What's your use-case for more than 50 custom fields on a board? You might need to split your workflow across multiple boards.
-
Y'all already figured this one out, but yes, there was an issue with Trello/Butler automation in the latest version of Firefox (103+). A fix for this issue rolled out last Friday (August 5th).

Can you post an example of what your command looks like right now and maybe what you'd like it to look like? It's hard to tell how to help, without a concrete example.
-
Yes, under "Account" you can see how many command runs you have used and how many you have available under your current plan. See https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/opening-the-usage-log/ for how to get there - you just skip the last step (i.e. don't click on the "Usage" tab, the quota information is on the…
