Hey @Wombat Stew - is the Trello app on your iPhone up-to-date? The team's been making some changes to how login works, and it may be incompatible with some older versions of the iOS app.
-
Thanks @Charline Stevanoni and @[deleted] - I've confirmed this bug, and raised a fix for the team to review. Hope to have this ironed out and working for you ASAP! Cheers, Felix

Hey @George thanks for the suggestion. Can you describe your use case for this functionality and how it helps your workflow? Why can't Atlassian offer a Trello native function? We could, but despite how simple it seems, a feature like this still takes a lot of time and testing to implement. It needs to work for all our…

You need to be able to open up the Microsoft Store app on your computer. Not in the browser. When you press "Get" on the website, it'll try to open up the Microsoft Store app, normally. If that's not happening, you might not have access to Microsoft Store apps (again, likely due to Enterprise configuration on your machine).
-
Hey @Abdul Moeed Qureshi I see you're running the Enterprise edition of Windows 10 - Trello's Windows app is distributed exclusively via the Microsoft Store. Can you open up the Microsoft Store and search for Trello? If you're missing the Microsoft Store from your installed applications, possibly your administrator has…

Hey @Gigi there's not really a 'wait' functionality, but we do something similar to this, where we make a new list every month, and automatically archive old lists. I wrote up how to do this here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/Automating-cleanup-A-way-to-use-Butler-to-keep-your-board-tidy/ba-p/1685337…

Hmm - custom fields is definitely an option, unless you have a ton of checkboxes. You could consider using something like Typeform or Google Forms, and having form responses create cards in Trello, with the responses in the description. Typeform has a Power-Up for Trello.
-
Hey @Matt Deutsch , there is currently a limit of 50 custom fields per board in place, to ensure your board(s) remain performant. Felix

Curious why you want to know this information? Trello API requests will return a "x-trello-version" response header - that's the version of our backend. Note that the header is not considered API, so it may change formats, be renamed or disappear entirely at any time, and without public deprecation. The web client version…

You could probably make this work with Power-Ups. One suggestion that may solve your issue: https://trello.com/power-ups/60d93bb780ee244d5d2b1edd

Hey @George Morrison first of all: no boards were deleted; the migration to workspaces may have closed all but 10 of your most recently active boards, after the business class trial expired. You can unarchive boards, so long as you stay below the 10 board limit (archive/close an open board, then view your closed boards,…

Hey Laura, see https://help.trello.com/article/809-creating-cards-by-email - specifically the "Email threads and duplicated cards" section: The first time a message is sent to the board email address, it will create a new card. If replying to the email the messages will be added to the original card as comments. This could…

Yes, changes to custom field items generates a "action" on the card. On the card-back, in the activity log, Trello will show you that a given user has updated a custom field, but it won't (currently) show from/to what the value was changed. This data is available via the API. A request like…

You can get a card's data in JSON format by appending .json to the url. For example: https://trello.com/c/YHrOQKHT/102-card-title.json
-
Above the comment box to the right there's a button that says "Hide details". Click that to toggle off showing detailed card activity.
-
I'm not following what you're trying to do here. The "look up the card with link" action takes a URL as an argument. It does not look through all cards on a board. It will find one very specific card, referenced by URL.
-
There's a few emoji that trigger the confetti; right now it's all confetti though, no other effects supported to my knowledge 😅 Your operating system (Windows or Mac OS X, most likely) has a way to open an emoji picker. On Mac the keyboard shortcut is "Control + Command + Space Bar", on Windows it's "Windows Key + ;…

I'd set up something like this: https://www.loom.com/share/c8d3c24441e046c9b5e82a31584affc8 Add 🎉 into your list name for some celebration action, then set up a automation rule to archive your cards automatically after a while. See…

@Hamal Fiallo please write in to Trello Support at https://trello.com/contact - they'll be able to help you with the quota issue. Edit: fixed the link
-
Thanks for the clear report! I'll update our site to make that value "true" for custom fields instead. As far as I can tell it's been like this for a while, possibly forever. I suspect something changed on the LastPass side where they were previously looking for the attribute existing, and now they're checking the value.
-
Maybe check out https://www.hipporello.com/ - it's a Power-Up that lets you configure a service desk portal, which will populate a Trello board. Sounds like that could work for your use-case.
-
Hey @Paddy O_Gee this rule won't work. What are you trying to do? "move the due date by the same amount of time" requires a date change in the trigger. For example, a valid use case for this action would be this rule: when a due date is moved in a card, for each card linked in the attachments, move the due date by the same…
-
Hey @Hamal Fiallo - thanks for the info, this is a public forum so you may want to remove your personal info (email address & screenshot). I'll update quota for this account too.
-
Hey folks, sorry about this, it should be all fixed up now. Please let us know if you're still seeing this! Felix
-
Hey @Hamal Fiallo sorry you're running into this! We're working on some improvements to be able to tell which Butler commands are running a lot, and using a lot of your quota, as well as some other ways to prevent our BC customers (like you) from hitting these quotas. I've gone ahead and doubled your command run quota for…

Thanks, checking with the team!

That looks like you're running an embed of a Trello board? What app/browser are you using?

I'm sure there's a bunch of ways to do this, but I've used the Agile cards power-up in the past, and it worked nicely: https://trello.com/power-ups/59805188bb0e7bc6bbc9cd76/agile-cards-print-your-board

Press 'q' on your keyboard. You're probably filtering for cards assigned to you. Some help docs here: https://help.trello.com/article/972-filtering-vs-searching
-
basically, I wish it will be possible to estimate the general project status from the card. This sounds like a use-case for something like the Hello Epics Power-Up or Epic Cards. Generally, I'd recommend you check out the power-up directory, there's a bunch of cool power-ups that help you summarize projects/tasks on a…
