  • Hi @guowu Hu I not able to follow where it comes from the security department assumes CVE-2021-34429 would be affecting your installation - is there more information you could provide to understand that better? Regards, Daniel
  • Hi @Thulasi Ram K a good point to learn more about pricing could also be this page: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/pricing Regards, Daniel
  • Hi @Neven Reynolds welcome to the Atlassian Community! The simplest way I know is the comment section - however, depending on your specific configuration I am not sure if you expose it to the users you are expecting feedback from. Other than that there seem to be Apps out there:…
  • That is strange because it is visible the maximum amount of permissions were granted by you. I would not think you did something wrong - it should just work!
  • The last line starts with an ERROR but I am not sure if this is the cause. There might be more lines, you could check. You could also review Windows event log if something more meaningful is logged. With the given information I could not pinpoint it to a single cause.
  • Hi @[deleted] have you been able to resolve this issue? Was there any conclusion after submitting the report? Is your work back to normal? Regards, Daniel
  • Very strange, indeed. If you have the change to do so, trying a different browser for a shorter moment and/or deleting cache on Edge could help - but you would need to test.
  • Hi @Martin Podhovnik you could try to change the contents of the page - probably you can fetch some information about the user and write it back to the server in a file, or you put a more explanatory statement on the page the users could give feedback.…
  • Is there probably anything in logs visible which explains the failure to come up with a match more in detail? Like Radek said the typing along without using suggestions worked for us in the past but I do not see a pattern yet where this affects the instance and when not.
  • Hi @kokdemir from what I remember there is quite a complexity that results in larger data to be transferred. It might be affected by several Apps, the amount of data then is higher - it's basically the same for Jira where the batch.js also grows with a number of Apps. I don't think that can be adjusted directly. Regards,…
  • Hi @Peter Volek is this a simple Confluence Server setup or a clustered Confluence Data Center installation where just one node has this issue? In case this event is affected you on a production system it could make sense to raise a request with Atlassian Support on this. For Community better being able to understand it…
  • Hi @Vikas Yadav welcome to the Atlassian Community! Before starting with the more advanced ideas you could make sure the sprint is linked to a Confluence page, like described here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/link-a-confluence-page-to-a-sprint/ If done so, you can look at the results and try to…
  • Hi @Haroon Habibi welcome to the Atlassian Community! Unfortunately, it will be impossible to tell without getting more information about your deployment and how you use Confluence. Assuming you are using Confluence Cloud there are reports in the past about missing pictures, like:…
  • Hi @keewan lew welcome to the Atlassian Community. There should be no need to rebuild the indexes on a regular basis, according to the documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/content-index-administration-148844.html Is there a specific problem that is to be solved on your instance? Regards, Daniel
  • Hi @Dmitri Bukovski welcome to the Atlassian Community! From my believe you need to observe which type of requests result in which entry in logs. The documentation more generally speaks about it is controlled by Tomcat what is logged and in which way:…
  • Hi @kristin whitaker according to this page: * What are space permissions? https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/what-are-space-permissions/ I am wondering if the user could be missing the following permission: Add User can add new pages, blogs, comments, or attachments in your space. You can assign "Add"…
  • Hi @Christian Hoffmann in case you do not want to provide the logs for a reason there is a troubleshooting section in the page you linked, in case you have not seen it. You can try to work along the troubleshooting hints to see if the service comes up then.…
  • Hi @Wade Harshman welcome to the Atlassian Community! What me worries a bit is that you say sometimes works and sometimes it just don't. Can you pinpoint it probably to a specific browser (Chrome, Firefox) or is it working for your colleagues (if given) per any chance? While you are on Confluence Server it could make sense…
  • Hi @Omar Morales the more installations you run on a single server the more it will be crucial to have a well thought through backup/restore or standy system plan available. Imagine the server holding all product goes down - users will complain very quickly. Also, it might be needed to put more resources for CPU, RAM and…
  • Hi @Krzysztof Kołodziej looking at this a bit older question of yours and thinking about the internals of it (we've been tasked with more in-depth agile topics, also) I think there is no answer that would fit for every company. From what I observed questions like "how often to do..." is individual to companies, if not even…
  • Hi @CoiramOrg while the setup is not fully clear to me and I hope other users will chime in the first question that comes to mind is if in "Notification Scheme" the "reporter" could be listed for the "Issue created" event? The behaviour of that setting comes close to what you are observing so it could make sense to check…
  • Hi @Davor Sedlan from the link Fabio gave you previously it is this section: Changing a field's renderer Before you change the renderer for a specific field, read Configuring renderers, paying particular attention to the Implications for Jira operations section. * Follow the first three steps from the Modifying field…
  • Hi @Youssef Bouchara while I am not sure if I can follow the part for the integer (as it was possible to put in more than the mentioned 99999h in a Cloud instance as well as on a Jira server - haven't had a look into the Jira server's database though): ... the general request for a sanity check could likely be addressed by…
  • Hi @Shashi Matha from the Suggestion over at jira.atlassian.com I seem to understand the policy is unified across all accounts - there seems to be no exclusive setting for Portal users: * Allow service desk customers to have more relaxed password policy than other Jira users https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-2512…
  • Hi @marc -Collabello--Phase Locked- it looks that since May the rules for writing a review has changed so a user leaving a review must be an actual user of an App now: I did not go through the process of reviewing an App for so long - so this is just what the popup reported. Regards, Daniel PS: the link to Developer…
  • Sorry to hear the problem persists, @Marton Varga The previous user was recommended to check log files and also to see if an App could be involved in that kind of problem for terms of a root cause. Have you had the chance to check the logs? On a lower environment it could be easy to deactivate all Apps for a test and see…
  • Sorry to hear there is still an issue, @Hayrullah Yasar The initial problems the user reported seem to have been fixed some time ago for Confluence Cloud but it is unclear which product you are referring to. In case this should be still a problem, I would suggest you describe the issue in a new thread here in Community or…
  • Hi @Judith Vorster Firstly, I should ensure that the project in which I'm going to create my Epics, is a company managed project and not a team managed project. ...yes, this seems to be the most relevant part. Then, I can create Epics in that project. Each time I create an Epic, I have to and manually update the Epic Name…
  • Hi @Daniel Alonso for the first question ("How can I create a Request with Customer Request Type (JSM)") you might find some ideas online - however they are mostly suited for Jira Server. Please be noted the syntax for ScriptRunner on Jira Cloud is different from the one for Jira Server. Therefore, code snippets available…
  • Hi @derrickm because you mention the linked Suggestion * Excel export includes wiki markup https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-59964 it is positive that a Suggestion is logged but it cannot be said if it will be introduced in any of the next versions of Jira - so an idea that comes to my mind is to replace the…
