Hi @Roy Nijhuis I fully agree with Bill and wanted to add that I remembered a Bug like this from the past - please kindly check if: * Clicking on the Summary of a child issue will copy the value to its parent when navigating back trough the breadcrumb https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-76050 reflects what you are…

Hi @Ben Sinclair if you want to trigger a rule off the results of another rule there is a check-box in second rule which must be checked. Could you please confirm it is checked? It is in "Rule details" >> "Allow rule trigger" (Check to allow...) Please test it and let us know if was of success. Cheers, Daniel

Hi @lynn.dixon from what I recognize with documentation and previous experience this was just a demo project in documentation. You could create an own for learning and testing purposes. Of course, you could name it like you want - it was just an example name used for documentation it seems. Regards, Daniel

I think the answers to this questions may vary a lot depending on where you currently stand (what the management told they want the infrastructure to have it like) but also what you are willing to change (long-term, probably). It will depend if you are only considering Opsgenie or are looking for alternatives (for example…

Hi @Amir Colnect yes, this is a common topic and like Jack suggested one option would be to tune the notification schemes to improve the situation. What many users find coming in handy is to have a filter subscription for their teams - in other words a digest of what happened lately, based on a JQL query: * JQL: Using…
-
Hi @Lynn van Dooren for automation rules you can uncheck a corresponding option. However, when the "action" leads to something that will trigger an event on its own (for example an issue is updated) users reported that a notification is sent anyway as Jira does not distinct if the edit (Issue Updated Event in technical…

Hi @Angela Trigg (Quarles) although I have no experience with Integromat I am wondering how the tool's logic might be. You surely have seen that you can check for issues longer resting in a status than you want them to be by, for example: status = "Open" AND status CHANGED FROM "In Progress" TO "Open" BEFORE -14d More…

Depending on how large the client's team is this looks like a challenge to change the password for the role account. They would have to do it as soon a team member quits. I agree with Jack - it would be better, not just for security reasons, to use the functionality like it was designed with JSM. There is some further…

There are some requirements from you initial post which will make it impossible (if I am not missing something): - not in a workflow - not a validator/condition - not using Automation - without Apps - directly, anytime an user does a change I think it cries for some kind of listener, this however will not be possible…
-
Hi @Yasmeen Kh while it most likely will not be possible to find the root cause from remote, from Community and probably even the true cause is not reflected in the log lines you just posted I found a similar thread here:…

I happened to come across a case like this when a role account like development@example.org was put to watcher as well as dev-team-1@example.org where the user was member in both distribution lists. From what you said it sounds it would be always the same amount of 5 mails, right? In this case I would also have a look into…

Seems valid, too - but restricts your results a bit further - that can be desired, of course. For example by looking for issues that changed status in the current month. You may surely use it - does it work for you? Did you have a specific question about it or is it not giving anything back / wrong results?
-
Hi @Mike Morris my suggestion is so simple that I think I am missing a point - but hey an answer here does not hurt. Did you enable the separated backlog in your project? This would not lead to another column in your board but you can put issues separately to it. Please tell me what I am missing, because that literally…
-
Movies are not possible to be included here, it seems. You would have to use whatever kind of file hoster (that's the latest info I got). When you say the lag is at the backlog I am wondering if this applies generally to all backlogs or only a subset, let's say only crowded ones with tons of issues on them?
-
Ah, nice one! Yes, this is something that can be hard to find when not having administrator privileges (= no option to have a quick look at Apps). Great to hear you figured it out!
-
There might be a lot of factors coming into play, like you said how Chrome renders the page, manages it memory and so on. Did the problem vanished over time or did you switch to Firefox (asking now that this thread is some months old). As you can see, @Ron Nooij also reports an issue like that while we do not know which…
-
I could not reproduce this on my PC. As this thread is quite old now and we do not know much about your system it might make sense to raise a new thread. This would ensure more people are looking over your request than it would be the case in the older thread. In general you would need to tell us which version of Chrome…

@Januka Wijesinghe according to documentation you would have to switch to the enhanced search - I cannot determine from your screenshot if you did do that. Please have a look at this video: https://scriptrunner-docs.connect.adaptavist.com/jiracloud/enhanced-search.html If this should not succeed I'd encourage you to raise…
-
If I understand you right you will move the issue after a time period (let's say after 14 days) to a state called 'locked'. The trick is that this workflow step will get the jira.permission.work.denied setting by you so nobody can log time again it. Yes, this should work - this is basically that what Bill suggested above…
-
Ah, I see - so it is more a collection of suspicious things. Well, in case they are dependend on each other (or even if not) maybe something in configuration (but to be honest then I cannot imagine where that should be) or you are hitting a series of bugs (not likely, but who knows). I would in your case investigate…
-
I see - interesting, have never seen such button to be honest. Could you please attach a screenshot of it? Maybe that rings a bell. Thanks in advance!
-
I think this should work as well. For a button "in software" you would just be needing the same logic. Something that is capable sending mail or to contact the API.
-
I would recommend to check first.
-
Do you currently have a valid service entitlement/license with Atlassian for this installation? I would love to hear what the cause is while I believe further debug from Community could be tricky.
-
So - just for a summary and a better understanding, you still see some other user than "SPOC" assigned when a Component like "Öffentliche Website" is selected, is this right? If so and no setting via component lead + no setting via project default is taking place + no setting via workflow is done - only some sort of…

Has the user tried if this is reproducable using a different browser? (Firefox/Chrome/Edge) - if trying a different browser is not feasible can she probably try it going incognito in browser?

Hi @anjitha.s next to the perfect information from Niranjan you also could have a study of the troubleshooting guide for performance issues: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/troubleshoot-performance-issues-in-jira-server-336169888.html It is nearly impossible to pinpoint a specific cause here from Community, it will…
-
Actually you can prevent work being logged when an issue is in a specific workflow step. What I initially meant to say is that * there is no option to make it non-editable after 14 days * the implementation is not done via issue property keys (I am still not aware of any way to do so) Adding to that, I believe, there is…

Hi @[deleted] is there any chance the component setting of default assignee is overriding your settings - to check could you check if there are components set to the troubling issues in question and if so, if there are settings for components which could be responsible?…
-
Yes, this seems correct from looking into Marketplace. You still could contact the vendor and ask if they plan releasing a version for Cloud.
