@swarren_wv From the screenshot it is visible you are on a team-managed Service Management project. Exposing the workflow to customers is not possible with this type of project. In case you want to create a company-managed Service Management projects all the aspects Joseph already explained will apply.

Done :)

Hi @Dawn Fama your calculation is correct. Now with DC, our cost every year is 23,000. Yes, basically correct. Note that the price could be raised in future (what just means: whatever the increase would be is the new value instead of the mentioned 23,000). Regards, Daniel

Sure this counts 💐 Very creative - and a nice idea to give a pallet some new duty :)

They look so nice! I love the quality of the photos and the small details like the wet leaves, just great!

Hi @Pandiyan Muthuraman I am wondering if the errors you see are only results from a superior error. In log already at timestamp 06:39:17 a FATAL error is locked leading to "Jira is locked" state. 2021-07-21 06:39:17,784+0000 JIRA-Bootstrap FATAL [c.a.jira.startup.JiraStartupLogger] Startup check failed. Jira will be…

Hi @Ranjan Koirala from a previous Community post I remember parts which you could also use for your scenario - Jira is very flexible, there is more than one way to reach the goal. Like Ashu said working with Conditions and Validators is likely the easiest way. What I generally find a bit cumbersome is having several…

Hi @Kenneth Lau while it is possible to assign a special label when an issue is created in a certain project there is no possibility (not aware of anything and did not encounter it in the past here in Community) to set a label based on creation through a special board. A board (Scrum/Kanban) is just another way of viewing…

What a great view! Not so many can see famous buildings from their balcony - makes me think if I would trade in a nice view for flowers :) Mosquitos can be a pain (literally) - we have some very nasty ones here. They have the potential to keep you up all night.

That's a valid suggestion from my point of view. If you want you could give feedback to Atlassian to get probably a "Suggestion" opened on jira.atlassian.com on that - you could do that by opening a formal support request and linking to the discussion here. There is apparently also the chance to open one by yourself but I…

Hi @Charles Coody you are right - I can confirm that on my instance it is the same. By clicking the symbol for the lists it reverted to a non-automatic created list. I suppose you want to define a default behaviour so you do not have to click the symbol every time to remove the auto-formatting? Unfortunately I were not…

Hi @Systems Operations the exact "path" to click through, like Ravi suggested, should be: Administration > User Management > User Preferences > Edit default values > Default Autowatch Could you please confirm this works for you? Yes, the App you referred to is one that needs to be installed - you can find it in Marketplace…

I really like the colours! Very nice!

They are beautiful! So nice to see them enjoying the sun!

In case it is just because some issues are currently having this issue type you could migrate them to any other issue type defined in your Issue Type Scheme - would that be an option? Restricting issue types is possible, however I have never tested it with a Service Management project:…

Hi @Roger two questions: 1.) is this a Jira Cloud or a Jira Server instance? 2.) do you have any scripting/JQL extending Apps available? I know using ScriptRunner on Jira Server you can use the following query: issuetype = "RfC Request for Change" AND status not in (closed) AND issueFunction in hasLinks() AND issueFunction…

Hi @Celle Automation acts in that case like an 'user' editing/creating an issue, therefore an email is sent if that is defined by your Notification Scheme. There are similar discussions in Community, however with no solution: * E-Mail Notification frequency E-Mail Notification frequency…

Hi @Brian Eschen wanting to see the results I gave it a try - it worked for a company-managed project, however I feel sceptical about the implementation because there is no usage of any advanced features. It is so simple that there might be something missing, in case you would like to check and compare it would be…

Hi @Andrew Custer this is a company-managed project right? You can determine that by looking at the project, on the bottom left it is stated. Those project use "Story Point" as a custom field - however, team-managed projects use "Story point estimate" as Custom Field. I seem to see that you use the field "Story point…

Ah - great, this is even useful for something I have to fix, so ... thanks for investigating. Yes, this list (if complete, working, nicely maintained, ...) seems to be the heart of the redirecting logic. This will be fun when Apps come into play like the poster on the linked thread (also thanks for finding that!) said. So,…

Glad you got it working - thanks for your feedback, also!

I see, glad you were able to fix it. Addons can be a culprit, useful as they are - sometimes they can show unintended behaviour, especially during/right after upgrades.

@Friedemann Wagner Could you please... ... confirm if it is a team-managed or company-managed project (you can find the information when you open the projects on the left bottom) ... show what you exactly have configured for "edit action"? Does it show like this? Please spot the difference that is possible here. In a…

@Thorsten Boll In my test I used a company-managed project and it worked out all fine, just re-checked the log, no timing issue or anything. In fact it copied over three labels - everything as expected. I could imagine in a team-managed project it might not work that way, they are structured differently. A timing issue,…

Awesome! Happy it now works for you.

Hi @sai prasad maybe I am mistaken by not fully understanding your scenario but for the part "change its state to done only when its associated test case results gives a passed result" I seem to recognize that you would need some sort of App which is capable of testing the related ("linked") issue status during a…
-
Hi @drcloudqa could you please have a look into the "History"-Tab of the issue to see what happened to the "Sprint-"field? There could be some kind of Automation, a Post Function or a user that changes the field. I am not fully getting your scenario - Jira Software is commonly the solution in the Jira family which uses a…

Hi @James Hill adding to what Jack said two idea come to mind... 1.) when using a board you could utilize the "Days in column" function, it puts a graphical representation into the card showing when one is open for a pretty huge amount of time (not a directly timer, though - I am afraid)... 2.) with JQL you can get some…
-
Hi @Nathan Hazout adding to the great information you already have received I am wondering if a custom field of type "user picker (multiple)" or "group picker (single or multiple)" could address the need for reflecting that several people are working on an issue. It is not specifically an Assignee-field as 1 issue = 1…

Hi @Rob Horan right! And it will depend heavily on what you have in place for (commonly) a reverse proxy, or at least, what IT team is willing to setup for that case (you would have to do it in your own network - I think this is what you meant anyway). Simplest (I know, a lot of things to consider here) thought is a…
