You should look at the logs that I put in there, can the script logs the fix versions and the linked issues? Also check both your projects on the configuration screen.
-
Hi, If that's the case you would need behaviours feature here too. You can make the custom field required when only creating the issue but you still need another plugin like JSU. You can unlock the field but it is not recommended to tamper with the database. Just so you know here is the link how to do that:…

Hello, For the first question, - To disable a transition (if i understand correctly that's what you are asking), you need a plugin like Script Runner to write a custom condition. - I don't understand what you mean by change of activity type, if it's a custom field you can use behaviours feature of Script Runner also. For…

Hi @Vikrant Yadav Try it like this, I tried and it works: import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.issue.ModifiedValue import com.atlassian.jira.issue.util.DefaultIssueChangeHolder import com.atlassian.jira.issue.link.IssueLink import com.atlassian.jira.issue.link.IssueLinkManager…

You need to import issue and version import com.atlassian.jira.issue.Issue import com.atlassian.jira.project.version.Version

Hello, The customers that you add to a project are not actually users in your Jira instance. They are just customers who can open tickets on your service desk. You can cross check it by searching for them in the user management section. You won't find them there either. That's why when you click on their profile, they are…

Hi, What is your question here? If you are looking for how to change password policy, check out this document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/password-policies-938859739.html You need to access admin.atlassian.com and go to security to set a password security policy. Cheers

Hello, You didn't close the curly braces of the if you started, that's why it throws exception: if (fix_Issue.issueTypeObject.name == "Story" ) { You need to add one closing } at the end. Cheers. Elifcan

Hello, I found this bug report: https://github.com/mojohaus/aspectj-maven-plugin/pull/45 Which jdk version are you using on your local? Maybe there is a support issue with the plugin's version and the JDK that is used on Bitbucket cloud. Regards, Elifcan

Hello, The field wants a jql. Did you try something like this: status = "In Progress" OR status = "To Do" Regards, Elifcan
-
Hello, You cannot do this via JQL, I'm afraid. You can query database or check issue by issue on the history of transitions. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-list-all-the-issue-status-transitions-for-past-x-days-from-database-in-jira-747832171.html Regards, Elifcan

Hello, On your Jira instance go to Workflows and edit the workflow of the project you want to achieve this: For the first inquiry click on your Closed status. Mine says Done but it doesn't matter. You should click on the status that you want to prevent logging. Click on properties here and add like this: Click on add. Then…

Hello, You also need to add that user to Browser Project and Assignable User permissions on the project's settings permissions page. After that it should work. Regards, Elifcan
-
Hey, Agreed, documentations can be better in many ways. Atlassian is working hard but since there are so many, they have a hard time to catch up, I guess. Glad to help, Elifcan
-
Hello, For your first inquiry, workflow properties should do: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/workflow-properties-776636709.html You need to use jira.permission.work.denied on your closed status and no users will be allowed to log work. For your second inquiry, you need to add a postfunction to your…

Hello, Have you checked out the steps in this documentation? https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/not-receiving-email-notifications-in-jira-cloud-779160705.html In my experience, mail notification problems occur 80% of the time because of this: By default JIRA will not send you email notifications about your own…

Hello, Script runner plugin has a feature called Escalation Service. You can run cron jobs with this feature. Script Runner is available for Jira Cloud. Although I never tested it on Cloud, I believe this would work for your needs. You can install with a trial license and check it out.…

Hello, Here is the documentation that you are looking for: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/migrate-a-confluence-cloud-site-to-an-existing-cloud-site-959303219.html Also stated in the documentation, size limit is for the uncompressed XML files inside the backup zip file. This is the 'data size' of the backup.…

Hello, There might be a condition on the workflow that prevents you from the transition. Also, you can use permission helper to figure out why you can't perform a certain act: Regards, Elifcan
-
Hey, Thank you for the details. Did you try using value field condition for this? You need to add yes option for "Already Paid" transition and no option for "Please Pay" transition. So basically you need to add two different conditions on these two different transitions. Hope this makes sense, elifcan
-
Hello, Sorry, I didn't see your comment. You can use @Leo 's solution or use a script field that comes from Script Runner plugin. Script field also shows the changes on the same screen as far as I know. Regards, Elifcan
-
Hello, Field id and option id are two different things. Can you give a little more detail about how you are trying to achieve this? Are you writing a script or using a built in one? Regards, Elifcan
-
I don't think I understand what you mean by flow by flow modifying but it's not possible without an external plugin, I'm afraid. It's actually a very common request from users and you can see there are many questions about it if you search for it.
-
Hello, This is not possible with default Jira features. Which plugin do you use? Different plugins have different solutions for this issue. For example if you have Jira Suite Utilities, there is a postfunction called Linked Transition. Or if you have Script Runner, you can achieve it with a small script. Regards, Elifcan
-
Hello, yes that's what I meant to say, actually, sorry. You can write a JQL like this: date customfield = startOfDay() When the date hits today, it will automatically trigger the transition you choose on the escalation.
