once you open the issues on one project you can clone them to another but i believe csv import would be much more convenient.
-
hi you can not create a project with issues automatically but you can import a non-existing project with many issues in it to JIRA. for this to work you need to specify the project key, project name and project type on your csv file. like this: Selection_003.png this will create the project test and import the issues under…

hi, I did not see the cloud tag, I don't think it is possible for cloud as it says "Please also note this documentation only applicable for JIRA server applications and is not applicable for JIRA cloud applications, as this is part of Cloud Restricted Functions. " I did some research and it seems like it is not applicable…

Yes you can put value field condition on the fields. But you should do it in the workflow. You should put the value field condition on the transition where you need the custom field to be mandatory. You need JIRA Suite Utilities Plugin for this.…
-
You can add a workflow condition. With Value Field condition you can make it mandatory to be greater than zero.
-
hi, you can do this with workflow properties. here you can find the document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/workflow-properties-189949.html afaik it should be something like "jira.permission.work.denied" but you should check.
-
hi, go to your workflow of your project in edit mode: Selection_003.png click on create as you can see above. you can see post functions next to it. click on post functions. Selection_004.png add post function and choose update issue custom field: Selection_005.png then choose your accepted date time custom field and write…
-
hi in the create transition you add "update issue custom field" and then choose the accepted date time custom field. write the custom field value and then you should be done. in order to do this you need JIRA suite utilities add-on. it is a free add-on you can use.…
-
According to the add-on's page, the numbers should match: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.luminouslead.jira.plugin.p4vsuite.P4VSuite/server/pricing "How do I determine my server pricing tier? For JIRA Server 7.0 or later, the add-on tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your…

hi, have you checked this link? https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-display-a-field-based-on-another-field-s-selection-649921383.html

In my opinion, JIRA is good because it can be used for many different purposes; project management, issue tracking, bug tracking etc. Also it is usable for both big and small companies. It is cheap for small ones and you can track the progress of your company very easily. Also it is useful for big ones because it can…

hi, did you check out this document? https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/bulk-import-attachments-to-jira-issues-via-rest-api-729750741.html

If you want you can create a mail group as I described above and assign the issue to that mail group. Add every member of qa team to that mail group. It becomes something like a pool that every qa team can see. But as Nic said you can just assign it to the team leader too.
-
Hi, You can't assign an issue to a group. You can create a mail group and then assign the issue to the user that uses that mail group address but other than that it is not possible to assign an issue to a jira group. If you want to use a custom field in a project than you should put it in a screen that is used by the…
-
hi you can do it with a update custom field post function. choose resolution and choose what you want it to be. you need JIRA suite utilities plugin to do this which is free. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.googlecode.jira-suite-utilities/cloud/overview
-
condition means "if this is true for your issue then you can transition". like for example, with a condition you can check if all the subtasks are complete, then you can make the transition. or if this user has this permission then she/he can transition the issue. or if this user is in this group then she/he can transition…
-
hi, it's because your condition and post function are completely independent from each other. you have to create a post function that says "if this then that" but you put "if" in one place, "then" in another. this is not possible out of the box with JIRA but you can check MISC workflow extensions. I believe you can find a…

I don't think the version has any effect because we have 6.0.0. But you may be right, I think it isn't working because you get the users from another directory. I can't think of any other way to do this, unfortunately. Why can't your users login to manage their settings?
-
hi, if you are an admin you can login as that user. go to user management, click on the related person and click on log in as user. then you can go to that user's personal settings and manage e-mail settings.
-
hi, i think the best way of doing it is to first get script runner plugin and then write a post function as a custom script. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.onresolve.jira.groovy.groovyrunner/server/overview
