Perhaps you are having the same issue as this – Why won't the Macro Browser load, after we upgraded from 3.5.5 to 4.1? >>The only time I've seen this problem is when there was a third party or custom plugin installed that wasn't 4.x compatible. Have you got any third party plugins installed that may not be 4.x compatible?…

For an issue such as this I would suggest opening a support ticket at support.atlassian.com

Here's info on the Documentation Theme and Easy Reader Theme.

There are no changes to the out-of-the-box themes that ship with Confluence 4.0 compared to 3.5. For a list of available themes and descriptions just go to Space Admin > Themes If you're looking for a third-party theme that's compatible with 4.0 and offers customization capabilities, I'd suggest looking at RefinedWiki's…

Hi Dave - what version of Confluence 4 are your running? From memory this is a bug that was fixed.
-
Confluence does not have a built-in spell checker. Most of the popular browsers – Chrome, Firefox, Safari – have their own spell checkers or extensions are available.

Would the Navigation Plugin work for you? https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/170

The User Profile Plugin enhances the functionality of Confluence user profiles by allowing you to extend user profiles with additional elements. It supports LDAP-synchronization for any attribute. See: https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/29106

Not out-of-the-box. Try the Arsenal Lockpoint plugin: https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/36199 Arsenale Lockpoint for Confluence gives your company an advanced, enterprise-grade solution for controlled checkout and checkin (locking) of Confluence attachments, allowing for exclusive editing of Microsoft Word,…

The Calendar Plugin has never been supported by Atlassian. With the release of Team Calendars customers now have the option to use a fully-supported calendar add-on for Confluence that has new features, that customers ask for, added in frequent releases. I encourage you to check out the Team Calendars blog and product page…

Stefan is correct - the ability to paste images from your clipboard directly into the editor is currently scheduled for release with Confluence 4.0 (as long as no no critical bugs pop up). Note that since this feature relies on HTML5 it is currently only supported in Chrome and Firefox since Internet Explorer does not yet…

Alternatively, is there a way to rerun the migration process for the whole Confluence instance so that unnecessary occurences of an unsupported-wiki-markup macro are removed? Yes - See Wiki Markup to XHTML Migration > Re-running Migration in our Planning for Confluence 4.0 documentation.

What version of Confluence are you using, Jagbir?

It's not possible to use Image Effects with wiki markup. We need to allow the use of the new editor to create page templates. There's an existing issue for this which you can track here. We hope to ship this in a future release. In the interim here's a workaround: 1) Create a new page and restrict editing to yourself –…

How about using Status Updates and diaplying them on a Confluence page using the User Status List Macro?
-
This functionality does not yet exist. I've created an Improvement request on your behalf. Please watch the issue for updates: https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-185

This functionality does not yet exist. It sounds like it would be a great addition to Team Calendars (I'd use it myself!). In summary, for a first step at providing what you are asking for there should be a macro that allows you to embed a Team Calendar on a page which automatically displays any/all Team Calendars that are…

I see - that's very odd. I'd suggest filing a support request at http://suppoprt.atlassian.com so we can identofy the cause of the problem.

Hi @lfobel – are you referring to the ability to paste images from your clipboard into the editor? IE 9 is a supported browser, however there are certain features that are not supported by IE. Unfortunately, we could not implement this in Internet Explorer due to IE not having the appropriate support for the Clipboard API.…

Or if you are connected to LDAP for user management you might be hitting this issue: http://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=217744422
-
One more cause for this issue is that the page maybe restricted to a group that no longer exists. Hopefully one of those three answers is the right one! :)

Is it possible that someone made a change to the page layout?

I too think that the CLI is your best bet. See here for info about how to get CLI help, support, and fixes.

Hi Yinkee - I've not come across any myself. I'd suggest emailing Laura Kolker who develops the UWC - laura@appfusions.com

Even easier – you can use an out-of-the-box macro :) {spaces:favourite}Docs: http://confluence.atlassian.com/x/byAC

Try using the Spaces List Macro.
